Quite honestly, I think my problem with how things are being done now are due to standards set by Bungie. As I recall in the days of Halo 3 and Reach, playlists weren't removed until there was a lack of people playing them. If you want to keep the game fresh, allow people to play what they want when they want. That was one of the stupidest parts of Halo 3, I could play the living dead playlist one weekend a month.
I'm gonna level with you here, this is a game you made as a company. You want this game to be different from Bungie's, fine, but don't run things stupid as hell. If you even begin to say you can't give us a certain thing because of lack of whatever, good joke. You have Microsoft's biggest franchise, they'll give you whatever it is you need to continue making them money.
Also, dedicated servers? Lastly, I will say, good call reducing the weighting of Ragnarok and Haven. I was pretty sure I bought a copy of Haven 4 instead of Halo 4.
