I’ve been playing Halo since the beginning, but only became a true fan when H3 released. I exclusively play for the campaign, as I don’t enjoy multiplayer gaming. I’ve played through CE, 2, 3, ODST, Reach, 4, 5, Wars 1, and Wars 2 on Legendary multiple times each, and have all the campaign achievements from the MCC, except for the LASO ones. Once I have the time, those too, will fall.

I love great stories, classic literature, classical music, Greek philosophy and Christian theology, thoughtful, friendly discussions, and the Gravity Hammer. My favorite fictional work is The Divine Comedy, by the 13th Century Italian Poet Dante Alighieri. Upon playing ODST for the first time, I immediately noted its many references to The Divine Comedy, which only further endeared me to the Halo franchise.

I dislike online rudeness, the gaming trend of increasingly abandoning single-player experiences for multiplayer gaming, Jackals (not just the snipers - I dislike all of them), philosophically self-refuting belief systems, and people assuming I’m acutely interested in trending political topics (especially partisan ones) since I have a degree in political science, and have interned in both the U.S. House and Senate.

Looking forward to Halo Infinite with cautious optimism, hoping that it doesn’t repeat Halo 5’s unfocused storytelling, or its flat, disposable characters.
