Zoomed out when shot at.

I’ve seen a ton of posts about not getting zoomed out while shot at.

If you look at 6:06 of this video you’ll see a guy being shot out of DMR scope. Either that or he’s -Yoink!- zooming… Not sure. It pretty much just happens at this one spot.

I hope you do get shot out of scope.

I found it very strategic to try to shoot a sniper out of scope before running past them and other such situations.

It also provides for some pretty sweet moments. Feels pretty good when you’re scoped in, about to snipe someone, they shoot you out of your scope, you take a split second to adjust yourself, and you let off a sweet no-scope across the map.

Honestly, I’d be pretty pissed if I were shooting at a sniper far away, and no matter how many times I shot him, he would be able to stay in his scope and line up a great shot. That would be annoying.

It happens in the other Halo games as well. I hate it! >:(

It wasn’t that big of a deal any way, I’m pretty sure 343i said it was just for the E3 build and that getting shot will take you out of zoom.

I know that. I’m saying that in most videos the BR doesn’t get unscoped. This is the only instance I’ve seen it happen.

Maybe then it is another way to balance the DMR and BR. DMR gets unscoped while the BR doesn’t.

Yeah I think it’s in some Playlists.

When you get shot while crouched (Toggle crouch)you stand up. But if you use default you don’t. I hope that changes.

Isn’t there some kind of perk that gives you the ability to stay scoped while getting shot?

It’s called getting “pinged” just in case in the future you guys see/hear someone saying that word.

In the E3 build it wasn’t present, nor were the killcams we saw a long time ago. Let’s just hope the final game has the best options at hand :b

That’d suck because the DMR is a long range weapon.

Yeah, but it would make the DMR the harder weapon to use, justifying a faster kill time if they leave the BR how it is.

I think I remember them saying it was only in the E3 Build.

It better happen with every gun.

If “pinging” is not in game, then this will encourage (to a certain degree) slower, longer-ranged games.

It should be an upgrade to not zoom out when getting shot. Other than that it needs to go back to how it was earlier, great for keeping snipers in check.

I personally think that most weapons should stay zoomed when shot, so long-ranged battles aren’t so luck based. The Sniper should zoom out, though.

What if, you could get pinged out of scope when using the Sniper, but not the BR/DMR/Carbine?
