Hello. Love Reach but if we could please get a controller configuration with aim/zoom as left trigger that would be awesome. I’m just asking for one setup that way. I just can’t seem to get used to pressing right thumbstick in to aim. I know it’s a long shot because it’s an older game but it would be awesome. Much appreciated. Thanks!
Don’t think this will be possible I’m afraid OP, there won’t be any more updates made to Reach as far as I know. Your best option is the custom mapping options that come with the Xbox Elite controller, or try the built in mapping options wiht the Xbox One
Its a little late to ask for things to be added. You can customize your controls yourself in your console settings
Bungie never had that option. 343 brought it in with Halo 4 (CEA may have had it) and added it all the games in the MCC. So Reach is now the only game that doesn’t have it.

Unfortunately though, you cannot remap the triggers on standard controllers, except switch the two. I do not know about the Elite controller as I do not own one.

I did not know that. I use bumper jumper so its never been an issue.
Yes, I hope they can atleast update it so that they include “universal aim and shoot” like in the master chief collection. That puts the zoom/aim on the left trigger instead of the right thumbstick. Much better that way. Here is too hoping. Don’t have an elite controller & I don’t want to have to remap the controls in my Xbox one settings everytime I play reach.
