Zone capture/loss sounds do not thematically fit

This is just my own opinion of some sound design choices relating to capturing or losing a control zone (I think I have the terminology correct)

The tones of each sound feel like they don’t belong in the overall theme and context of whatever match you are playing. The capture sound has an almost cheap mechanical sound to it. It sounds like you just put a coin in an ailing slot machine. And when you lose a point it’s like that same slot machine is saying you lost.

I expected the sounds to have a more digital sound footprint. Or perhaps a hybrid orchestral/digital mix.

I had this small observation when I first heard the sound when watching a match today. It’s not an inherently bad sound. I just believe since it doesn’t blend with everything else that it sticks out like a sore thumb.
