I know there’s already been posts on this but what about a flood survival mode however its pvpve. there would be two teams each spawn in there own base with buildiable turrets and things like that. the flood start attacking each base if you die you become a flood. once everyone’s flood its game over . You are allowed to leave your base however there would be loads of flood in-between you and the other base. if you get to there base you could disable there turrets etc. if you get killed by a player you respawwn.waves get harder.
just an idea feel free to tell me how it could be better
If the Flood do return then the ratings needs to return to Mature rating since modes like this could work if looks like a proper survival mode. If players are the only ones that play as Flood then I’d say no to turrets since don’t like power weapons in Infection modes but if players are just Spartans vs Spartans against AI Flood then turrets should be fine, it could be interesting to take out enemy base turrets so the enemy could get over-run by the Flood and maybe repair them like ‘Team Fortress’. I guess Flood player infections could work if there’s AI Flood helping to avoid players being killed too easily.
If a Flood player dies I’d suggest respawn on map somewhere with spawn protection to avoid spawning in certain area’s that are more likely to be exploited by Spartans. I think flood gates like HW1 could work too so infected Floods could spawn special Flood types after certain amount of time or/and based on how many Flood the Spartans have killed/damaged.

What about the amount of people you infect you can level up into better combat forms or maybe get different weapons sort of like the req system but everygun is avilable to u. however only short range weapons

I think special forms could work but I would just recommend maybe limiting the amount of each type to avoid over-use of certain forms showing up in games. As for weapons they should stick to what’s on the map since I hated the REQ system. Though for the Flood I would recommend Flood types be limited to certain weapons that don’t fire long range like the DMR, etc… Plus not a fan of skins, in custom games all of this could be customisable while the online would need to be pure survival and not just another ‘Warzone’ clone.
So kinda like a Flood Dominion mixed with Warzone? I like it. Heck have 24 players on the same team, that die once and BECOME THE FLOOD like Infection.

Leveling up flood forms would be nice. Eventually have a shield smog or rockets even.

I didn’t mean the few system be used for players I meant the more kills the better weapon

That actually sounds super fun! I love the idea of having two teams facing off while also having to fight the Flood. Lotta ruined friendships, but still fun lol.
It almost feels like a traditional game of Team Slayer, but the environment becomes hostile as well.
