Why did 343i make it so you can’t pick up more bullets for your guns .

It has always been like that, I originally saw it like that because you could betray your team mates and pick up more ammo.
However, I think allowing people to pick others’ ammo up would make the games drag on way to long if there was a pile of dead bodies near a guys camping spot.
It would make the game horribly unfair for the zombies. If a few good players searched together they would never get infected.
Correct me if I’m wrong but to pick up ammo I think you have to enable weapon pickups and that’s a global setting that will allow humans to also pick up swords and zombies to pick up pistols and shotguns.
