why does this medal even exist if its impossible to get, i dont just mean hard, i mean you actually can not get it, its 15 kills as a zombie with the sword, im almost certain “hmmmm brains” is impossible as well and its 10 kills as a zombie with the sword. There are some other dumb medals now that are impossible to do in matchmaking like the unfrigginbelievable in firefight and stuff.

There are several medal within the “medal chest” in all categories that are completely unobtainable, it’s was an oversight by the creator, and they admitted the mistake, but never removed them or modified the medal board.
You can get a lot of them through Custom Games though, and will show up in the board.

I’ve only picked up one infection spree in my entire time of playing Reach. I’d probably explode in my pants if I earned a Thriller.
I’ve had about nine maybe ten 9spree zombie kills (without dying and in the same round) if living dead had 13 players like it did in halo 3 I reckon I would have at least 5 mmm brains by now, just wondering why they didn’t make it so there’s 10 humans and 3 zombies like in halo 3
I also want creeping death, save one bullet and speed demons to make a return that would be win

Most of the “Running riot” medals are impossible or EXTREMELY hard to get, same with most of the “Killing frenzy” ones.
Examples: Sunburst, Red Menace, Cutting Crew, Corrected (or any of the sticky sprees for that matter), Thriller, and Mmmm Brains.
This is because to get them you would have to get the same power weapon multiple times in a single spawn and get a kill with each shot. For the Laser sprees, even if you managed to get a triple kill with each shot, you would have to grab the laser twice, and there’s no way you’re getting a triple kill with each shot so its more like 3 times, thats not counting misses. Cutting Crew is the same deal, you can get up to Slice n Dice with one sword but then you have to get it again, and since the sword is a highly popular weapon I can imagine this would be difficult outside of maybe double team.
Corrected and the other sticky sprees are just ridiculous, I honestly fail to see how someone could get 15 sticky kills in one spawn, as there are maybe 4 stickies on the map at one time so you would have wait for them to spawn, go around and gather them all up 4 times without dying, that is assuming you don’t miss any.

As for the other sprees these usually are on weapons that are fairly easy to get more ammo for, like the sniper or the shotgun. You also have games like team snipers or infection where you get to use these weapons with bottomless ammo. Same deal with the hammer sprees and Grifball/Haloball.
I think that the higher sprees for laser and stick grenades may have been designed for firefight as that is the only place I can see them possibly being earned.
It was done because everything else has a Running Riot form. They don’t want to have any inconsistencies I guess.
I’ve gotten plenty Be the Bullets and Buck Wilds, even a few Wrecking Crews. I think I only have one Cutting Crew and one Sunburst. I don’t even have a Sticky Spree though.
Thriller is impossible. I almost got Second Gunman in Crazy King.

Thriller is a medal I’d actually work for and would love to have in my medal chest. If only to sing “Thriller” by MJ when I got the medal. <3

I have to say I agree with most of this but not all, yes i do agree the infection zombie medals are ridiculous, and so are the sticky medals. But the Sword, Gravity Hammer, and Spartan Laser, aren’t really that hard to get. I currently have 3 Buck Wild’s, 9 Cutting Crew’s, 2 infection spree’s, 15 Hells Jerome’s, and 15 Wrecking Crew’s. I learned you just need the right amount of equipment (and playlist) to get the medals.

I’d love to know what your tactics are that earned you all those.
I usually go for stragglers but people like to bunch up in areas where they have great line of sight and limit the amount of ways you can get to them.

I agree, I just got a cutting crew yesterday in team slayer , bulk wild’s are easy in living dead and Wrecking Crew’s are easy in Griffball. Never got a Laser Spree or Sticky spree though. 
Well I’ve played 5000 games so I kind of know all the spots ant where and when to strike
And I use noobs as meat shields and too but I suppose jumping just as I lunge helps too
Speaking of sprees I’ve got over 5000 zombie killing sprees and 1100 hells jeromes too

Just so you know I avoid spawn killing and I do not camp in hard to get places… Even tho I know them all xD
You’d have to be zombie every round… get every kill… until the game ends… easy!
I wonder if getting a mmm brains in matchmaking is possible because I’ve played games before when the game has changed host just as you get infected and you respawn as a human and I’ve played games where my sprees have not reset
So if you start off a zombie kill 5 humans for the infection spree then the game changes host and turns the last person back to a human then you kill the last 5 humans for the mmm brains if your spree did not reset
It’s possible but very very very hard and you would have to be very very lucky
The laser sprees are definitely possible in matchmaking. Just play action sack, and pick the Team Splockets game type if it comes up. You spawn with infinite rockets and Spartan laser.
