I’ve recently pre ordered halo infinite from Best Buy in the US. I’ve seen the promotional stuff from other retailers and noticed that different retailers showcase different guns on the promo art. Is the weapon coating specific from where you pre order, or is it just to show what it looks like in all the guns?
i don’t think it’s specific from where you are, i’m in AU and i get the same as someone who is in the US

Yes, this is ridiculous. Yes, someone on their marketing/promotion team actually okayed this. In order to complete the Zeta Sky set, you must buy the game FOUR times: GameStop, Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon. Tough luck if you bought it on Steam or the $550 Infinite Series X.

Dang, sad. At least it doesn’t look bad on the BR and I’m sure we’ll all have cooler weapon coatings within a week.

You could pre-order 4 copies, return or resell 3 of them. Could buy the codes from a 3rd party selling website like eBay.
Or as most people will, just pre-order from the place that gives you the one skin you want the most. There will be so many skins to choose from it will be ridiculous. You can’t even as far as we know get the full zeta sky set as there are weapons with no skins so far. We also don’t know if they will be available further down the line for some reason in the game.
Don’t forget if you want everything you need to buy megaconstrux, funko pops, Halo elite 2 controller and all the razer equipment, mountain dew etc etc etc etc etc.
I think people need to remember that these skins are not an incentive to buy the product as much as they are a nice little reward for those that do.
