So yall may have to forgive me if this has been mentioned in the EU as I haven’t read any of the books for a while but where is Zeta Halo’s Monitor?.
did Cortana basically beat and delete it when she came to Zeta Halo?, have the Banished captured it? Or is it just MIA.
I’m curios because the Halo appears to have taken a decent amount of damage and one would think the Monitor would be busy getting the damage repaired/contacting the Ark for a replacement or attacking the Forces on the ring to stop them from causing more damage.

From what I understand from the books. Pyre, the monitor isn’t like the others it has made changes to itself the rampancy that effects the monitors seemed to be handled differently by pyre than its siblings and it isn’t the only powerful ancila on site. Pyre is zeta in many respects and is likely laying low and waiting for an opportunity to regain control of its ring. That or cortana has successfully purged it from the rings network but that doesn’t seem as interesting

As far as we know we don’t know if the monitor is alive on Zeta.

Thank you for this! Cool that they have yet to find the Rings Monitor due to it being in hiding seemingly….though it makes me wonder if it will have at least a small appearance in Infinite’s campaign.
