Zeta Halo Ring Objectives

Assuming Halo Infinite takes place on Zeta Halo as hinted in last year year’s trailer and shown in 2018 will Halo Infinite copycat Halo’s 1, 2, and 3 in terms of objectives? The first three games took place on a Halo ring, had a control room mission, had a plot device mission where we had to find an item like the “Sacred Icon” (Index), Flood missions, and a Warthog run. Will and should Halo Infinite go that route?

In this same line of thinking should Halo Infinite be segmented by numbered missions or should they go the open-world discovery route? IMO Halo should obviously have high replay value with everything content-wise available at launch. How should 343 accomplish this?

While this game is going to take place on this Halo, who knows, maybe we’ll go to other locations during the Campaign, we don’t know really anything yet. I don’t want them to just copy and paste segments and portions form CE-Halo 3, that’d be kinda just repetitive and banking way too much on nostalgia. While I think there’ll definitely be callbacks to the earlier games, I really want them to do something new and unique on this installation that makes it stand out in the series. I don’t think it’ll be open world or semi open world. I think mainly it’ll be like the usual Halo Campaign in terms of how it functions.

First of all, the “trailer” from 2018 wasn’t a trailer for the game, it was demo of the engine.
It was not the intend to showcase story or gameplay elements from the final game,
it was simply done to show what the new engine is capable of.

Apart from that, I, personally would dislike it heavily if H:I would change it’s pace drastically like that.
