Reduced Bloom makes spamming more effective and annoying. Zero Bloom eliminates the randomness and promotes skill. So i can see why you’d rather have reduced bloom.

Reduced bloom makes aiming more effective. Zero Bloom is good but the sandbox needs more tweaks most notably the pistol. A RoF cap should be introduced to the DMR somewhere around 85% of its max speed as well as on the pistol.
ZB is a godsend but it still needs work whereas reduced bloom plays phenomenally well with the entire sandbox.
I am really looking forward to the Anniversary playlist but ZB at its current state is not yet perfect. This coming from someone who abandoned reach as a competitive title and desperately wants it to reign supreme again.
Well after playing both ZB and 85% bloom. All I gotta say is…there isn’t much difference between the two. Well besides the pistol.
Any lower and it becomes all visual for the two main gun, since it resets before the shot can be even fired off.
The bloom expansion in 85% barely keeps up with the rate of fire of the guns even now.
Simply crouching with the DMR turns into 100% accuracy, and firing full auto with the needle rifle breaks it pretty hardcore with little need for single shots at short to medium distance.
Zero Bloom breaks open maps. 85% Bloom makes the gun feel more satisfying and intergrates better into current maps and gametypes without making other weapons redundant.

Yepp. Playlist is as bad as everything else unless you get ZB. Everyone that likes bloom is just bad at every Halo game and needs that randomness to even get a chance of getting a kill because they dont know how to strafe or do anything worthwhile and they should probably go play Viva Pinata because as far as Halo goes they are a worthless piece of crap.
Zero Bloom is the only thing I vote for… it is the only thing anyone else votes for (except for the odd person who should really just go back to Vanilla Reach and stop ruining it for the rest of us).
I kinda like 85pct bloom. What i do hate though is playing zero bloom one match, and then 85pct bloom the next.
I can adapt, but not that quickly xP
Oh and people saying “if you like bloom, your bad” you should just stop. You’re not helping prove your point and it makes you sound immature .

Not true. I hate bloom but ZB is not yet perfect. The RoF is so quick that EVERYONE shoots at the max rate and there is little punishment for missing. A very minor adjustment to the RoF will allow for skill and strafing to shine. Notice in Halo 2 and 3 there was a certain cadence of the BR which allowed for strafing to interrupt the shot and punish missing the target.
Also I’m using 4sk as a reference for all this. 125 damage with 150 resistance.

I say this. While I love zero bloom and would take it any day over vanilla Reach, it needs some more tweaking to make the game balanced. You can’t just remove bloom and say “There!”
