In the May 2012 update for Halo: Reach, the servers for Team ZB Servers dissapeared. Did 343 take it out because there was enough testing, or because it was unpopular? I enjoyed it a lot, and it was a pain to see it go away, for I am not the guy who enjoys bloom.
The playlist was abolished and ZB was inserted in super slayer as a voting option.
Thanks
Um, do you know how servers work?
Because it was unpopular. Imagine that.

It wasn’t because it was unpopular. It was popular enough for them to leave it up for a long time, then put it in super slayer.
It just wouldn’t make since to leave a “beta” playlist up forever.

TU ZB Slayer wasn’t a beta playlist, when it became ZB Slayer exclusively, it was its own playlist, it wasn’t testing anything.
Kinda wish they would reduce TU bloom by 5% each month till it is gone completely. It should be straight Vanila and ZB. Then more players could see the huge difference in accuracy.
They took away TU beta, and hid it in super slayer. You have to play about all night just to get the ZB option. Love the way 343 deceived us.

Yes it was, it was unpopular by every definition of the word. This cant be disputed. It also outstayed its welcome by about 2 months probably. Youre lucky they put it in super instead of striking it completely tbh.
Dont shoot the messenger.

I would have liked to play with 90% bloom, 95% and even bloom that exceeded 100% of the current settings to see how the game played. For me personally even 85% negates to many weapons. I am a little confused why 343 set up a TU beta playlist which featured only two settings which never were adjusted, its almost as if they really did not care what the players thought, rather wanted to create the impression that they did.
I wanted to see 130% bloom with a fast reset. That probably would have been the best way to go. But they probably only could go between 0 and 100.

When they announced TU ZB Slayer, they specifically stated that it had become popular enough to deserve its own playlist outside of a “beta” category.
"• Zero Bloom moved to Competitive category, and Beta category hidden.
Zero Bloom Slayer is popular enough to be moved to the Competitive category. We’re working on what will be in the Beta category next, but it needs a little more time to marinate in order to reach its maximum important status. Keep an eye out for its return in the near future."
[Halo Bulletin 2.2.12]
It doesn’t appear at all in Super Slayer.

Actually, I think MLG had 300% Bloom on April Fools Day last year, so it’s definitely possible.

I’m pretty sure that’s just a joke some community members made. I’l try looking for a video of it.
