ZB slayer:
To anyone who has played this: its broken; almost worse than vanilla reach.
Any open space is a death trap
double magnum is unholy
magnum makes dmr feel more “useless at its intended range”
magnum is beyond a utility weapon breaking the weapon sandbox
2 nade starts makes every encouter start with nade spam
lag storms break hit registration
kill times are too fast (ruins competitive nature of this game)
Ways to fix ZB:
*Make ZB Classic and ZB DMRs
ZB classic:
120 movement
120 jump
100 damage
mag primary
assault rifle secondary
NO AA
Reach TU mechanics
no dmr or needle on map
ZB dmrs:
120 movement
120 jump
100 damage
DMR primary
no weapons on map
No AA starts (mlg AA pick ups)
Reach TU mechanics
Ways to fix 85% bloom:
Really good job on 85% 343; I always praised zero bloom, but since ive playtested it online, I really think 85% plays the best, kills feel cleaner and the TU mechanics just feel right. Hats off to you 343. However, it could use a slight fix.
Slayer:
120 movement
120 jump
100 damage
Magnum primary
AR secondary
All weapons on map
AA are mlg pick ups (sprint AA start)
Slayer DMRs:
120 movement
120 jump
100 damage
DMR Primary
Arena standard weapons on map
AA are mlg pick ups (sprint AA start)

It’s not broken at all! It just needs some fixing. Your ideas work fine… except I’m going to have to disagree with you on kill times. They’re just fine. No AAs period. No pickups, no starts.
I like the ideas suggested for no bloom DMR gametypes like having 120% movement speed and experimenting with not starting with AAs. For right now, I would just like to see zero bloom gametypes weighed more in the beta playlist. They are incredibly rare occurring right now.
ZB DMRs should have weapon pickups and no AA’s, period. I don’t see how power weapon control isn’t an important factor just because of no bloom.
I definitely agree that zero bloom needs to be more heavily weighted in the playlist, since I rarely get it. I think that your ideas are great especially the increased movement speed and removing pistol as a starting weapon. I love using the dmr but I feel as though I am put at a disadvantage every time I play ZB. The pistol should be treated almost as though it were a power weapon.
kill times NEED to be decreased in zb, I dont have a link to the thread, but the reach TU zb magnum is 1.8s kill time at 10m
the halo ce one is 2.5s.
in 85 people complain about spam, the bullet magnetism feels severely reduced.
