I want to discuss a new weapon idea, perhaps a Promethean/Forerunner Charged Weapon. I know we don’t need another reskin… but the only thing in common it would have, is it being a power weapon and that its charged. I got an idea, from Halo Legends: Origins, when they use the pistol and it combines beams, and Halo 4, Incineration Cannon, these two firing methods could be implemented into a beam based weapon. So here is my idea:

Canonical Description
Made on the Capital World, this weapon was initially for the contender-class ancillas and sentinels, to counter the Human-San’Shyuum Empire. Unfortunately as time passed, this weapon was taken by the Flood, and was used against the Forerunner. So the Forerunner had decided to reinstates its purpose, to the Promethean warriors, on the Didact’s behest. The Didact, being formidable on and off the battlefield, used the Vortex Beam interior design, to create a new weapon, which was more suitable to counter the Flood, the Incineration Cannon.
Physical Appearance
The Vortex Beam had been a formidable weapon, during the Human-Forerunner War, and had withstood, the age of time. The Vortex is a charged based weapon that glows blue, green and white, like the Builder or Lifeworker Castes. It fires three initial beams (particles), one blue, one green and one white. The three beams spiral towards its intended target, uniting in the process, which forms one concentrated shot, of blue(proton), green(electron) and white(nuetron) accelerated particles. The accelerated particles are suspended in their separate chambers until they are fired.
Scientific Description of the Firing Mode
When the subatomic particles are being charged, by the Vortex Beam, they begin to spin in their suspension chambers. They build up enough force and velocity, and project themselves out of their containment cells. The particles rush down the separate conduits, whilst keep in contact with the origin element; and are propelled forward. Once they escape the conduits, the particles create beams which are continually spinning, due to the gyro-triangular plate. This forces the three separate beams to combine form a spiral effect, and causing chemical collisions. The chemical collisions create chemical reactions, which regularly create more and more collisions; thus more reactions. So each time a reaction occurs it creates, more and more force, eventually forcing the spiraling beam, into one, destructive ray, that upon contact with a hard surface creates an atomic blast. If their is no contact with a object in its trajectory then it can constantly flow until the origin element is drained.
Statistics: This is a beam based weapon. It has the ability to constantly fire until it expends all its ammo. It is very good against vehicles and other heavy personal. The power of the weapon is proportional, to the time the beam is on.
