you've done it again.....

after having many doubts about the game after the recent shaky turns halo has been through in the recent past with reach, a seemingly average game and that -Yoink- excuse of a halo (ODST.) i found myself very weary about purchasing the game, but after seeing the ever so intensifying trailer after trailer build up to what was looking to be what turns out a good game, i felt obliged to at least try it, so after waiting a few days after my friends had bought and tried the game they managed to fully convince me that this would be the new game of the century, after buying a full price copy from my local store (including the free raptor Armour code, CheChing) i take my copy home eager to bash some story line, then drop noob after noob on swat. once home i open the sealed package and play the game, after the first mission i began to become ever so intreeged by the games fascinating new take on the game, to my personal gaming opinion i found that the game was a lot faster paced and so much more intensifying than the usual seemingly endless amounts of grunts that would have better luck shooting the pigeons out of the sky before putting a bullet anywhere near you, the brilliant mix of past and future, managing to maintain a solid story line which kept you enticed till the very end, after finishing this i switch over to the multiplier and get ready to rape some noobs, after fully armoring my raptor skin, i head in to some SWAT (the game i usually play on all halos) to snap some headshots, to find a much improved game i managed to quickly resettle into my old game patterns. after many days of an online rape-age spree i get to 42 with 4 days left on my 117 victory’s with little left to do, and what happens to me, i get DICKSLAPED IN THE FACE BY THE HALO 4 SERVERS, GET LOCKED IN TO A BACKUP SERVER RESEARCH ONLINE TO FIND THAT THIS IS HAPPENING EVERYWHERE AND THE RESPONSE 4 DAYS AGO WAS, WE’LL LOOK INTO IT, THIS IS ABSOLUTE -Yoink- 343 i can gladly say that when someone ask’s me what halo 4’s like, i’m going to say that i’ve never been so disappointed with a game as much as this, i wounder how many others have been cockpunched out of 17K EXP… -Yoink- you

Paragraphs, my friend.

So what makes a game dissapointing now is how good the multiplayer is, and EXP? You enjoyed everything else but the multiplayer so that makes the game dissapointing?

i find your title ironic. DewXP and SO is your answer, as 2 games is 22k xp.

I agree though… you need paragraphs. and a few more periods.

its not the multiplayer thats disappointing whats disappointing is spending $60 on a game and $5 a month on XBL to be left like a gutter -Yoink- in a the middle of some -Yoink- excuse of a server for 3 days(and a seemingly endless amount of time to wait), and not being able to level or play with my friends after spending good money on what i thought was going to be a well-managed game. it’s disappointing to log onto the waypoint forums to find that many others have had this problem and have all posted similar responses to the problem that have neither been replied to or resolved, and the furthest thing that has been posted is we are looking into it, i mean if a company decides to take on the burden of a game as big as halo, you’d expect them to atleast in some way know what they’re doing.

> So what makes a game dissapointing now is how good the multiplayer is, and EXP? You enjoyed everything else but the multiplayer so that makes the game dissapointing?

Because Halo’s not a Multiplayer focused game or anything.

“What’s that? You don’t want to eat the turkey because it’s a dog?”

After fully armouring my Raptor skin, I head in to some SWAT (the game I usually play in previous titles) to snap some head-shots. I find a much improved game which managed to help me quickly resettle into my old gaming patterns. After many days of an online pwn-age spree I get to 42 wins out of 117 victory’s (in this months challenge) with little left to do, and what happens to me, I get booted from the Halo 4 servers and onto the fallback hoppers. I found this happening to a majority of players and the response from 343i (which was “we’ll look into it”) was 4 days ago.
> This is unacceptable 343i. I can gladly say that when someone ask’s me what Halo 4 is like, I’m going to say that I’ve never been so disappointed with a game as much as this, I wonder how many others have been robbed out of 17KXP… Please help!

I revised it for you. No one will help when you scream, bypass the profanity filter or create ridiculous walls of text. Also, check out the threads in the forums and find the “OFFICIAL can’t connect to the servers” topic.
Also, what was wrong with ODST? It gave birth to Firefight. The best FF ever. Every little thing about Halo 3 was tweaked and perfected and put into Halo 3:ODST. It was a fantastic game in it’s own right. Please refrain from bashing it.

mate you have way top much time on you’re hands

> mate you have way top much time on you’re hands

I’m a teacher of English and a QA tester. I know my grammar and games very well. I hope my time wasn’t wasted. Remember, 343i won’t respond to walls like yours. Structure them better and you may get a response.
Did you find the right thread?

Can you do that to every other thread as well?

Connection issues. READ the threads for once and go here. They actually have some solutions.

*Your.

look i agree completely agree with what you have to say and understand that i may have come off a little over eruptive but all i have to say to this thread(not including you) is that the last thing this forum needs is a bunch of butt kissing over-protective failure enablers, i mean how would you re-act if you encountered the same problem and came on to the forums for help, only to find a thousand un-answered posts relating to the problem.
the problem has existed for too long now and 343i should take responsibilities for their actions instead of leaving a sea of unanswered posts i’f 343i can’t take hate for some serious game dis functions then they should never have gotten into the game business in the first place.
i also hope you can understand that the last thing i need right now is a grammar check.

Agreed. I know it’s frustrating to be guided on the forums and not have a clue about what’s going on. But click this link HERE and post your Gamertag, rank, location and the time you could no longer connect to the servers. Another member already posted this link, I’m not sure how you missed it. They (343) have responded 3 times.
Good luck mate. But remember, thousands of players that are experiencing the same issues just like you can hold off their aggression in the forums to find the answer.

People make complaints about my long sentences. At least i space them out, which you should do OP. I am not going to bother reading the entire wall from China, screw that.

From what little i gleamed from that mess, it’s just you venting your passionate hate towards Halo 4 in a non constructive manner. Which i can sum up your entire -Yoink- fest into a few words.

343 sucks. Halo 4 is dying, this game sucks. I ODST was also bad. I only play for exp.

What took you a lifetime to rant only took me a few seconds at best.

ODST was awesome.

> ODST was awesome.

i agree, it also had a great soundtrack.
