YouTube Project: Community "Failtage"

So it’s just over a month before the Master Chief Collection (MCC) is finally released and we all lose a lot of sleep playing our favorite Halo game(s). I started thinking about putting together some kind of tribute video that would help add to the hype for MCC’s imminent release.

As we thought about what kind of video to create, we tried to remember all the different Halo videos that we had seen over the years, and to use them as inspiration. As we looked back, the one video that we kept coming back to was a “failtage” created by community submitted clips. As you might have gathered from the title “failtage,” this video was composed of clips of gamers playing Halo horribly wrong.

So what we thought we would do is put together a similar video before MCC is released. In order to make this video, we are asking the halo community to submit clips of their most embarrassing Halo moments. These clips will be edited into one large comedic video, and will not be used to belittle or embarrass anyone. Hopefully there will be enough submissions so that we will be able to release this video in early November (before MCC drops).

We don’t have any set criteria for what kind of footage these clips should contain. However, as a general rule, things like accidental betrayals, failed assassinations, accidental suicides, and missed jumps, are good examples of the kind of material we are looking for. Keep in mind that these clips can also be of teammates or enemies failing as well, and can be from any Halo game.

The video linked below has three clips that are a perfect example of what we would like to include in the “failtage.”

If you choose to participate in this project, you can send any theater clips you might have to the gametag: BR N00b (those are zeroes). Or if you happen to have footage recorded with a capture card, you can send those clips to the following email address: AtHaloVideos@gmail.com.

We appreciate any submissions that the Halo community is willing to make, and we look forward to working on this project, and putting together a hilarious video for Halo fans.

exelente me gusto
