Okay, within this hypothetical scenario, you have gone to your local game store and have purchased a new game. But instead of the game you had intended to buy, you find a copy of Halo 4 in the game’s case (presumably as an accident on one of the employee’s behalf). You have the option of keeping the game and experiencing it for yourself before anyone outside of 343i and Microsoft; a risky but fun option - doing this may result in you getting banned from Xbox Live or Microsoft may you to court.
Or alternatively you can can return it and exchanging it for the game you had intended to buy - an honest and safe choice which removes any possibilty of Microsoft taking action against you for coming into possesion of a copy of Halo 4 before its release, but you do not get to play the game until months of waiting.
hide the game under your bed until november 6th and continue playing the other games, or return it to the store, in which the store manager will question you by saying how did you get a copy of halo 4. if you tell him, he will most likely fire that employee, which will make that employee mad at you.
> Some of this sounded like gibberish and ilegalness until the end. Just get a bunch of games till Halo 4 comes out.
Gibberish? I thought it was perfectly fluent and understandable. However, I don’t personally disagree with you about its questionablke legality though. But I pose this ethical and legal dilemma onto you and other forum users. It would be your choice to decide whether to return it or keep it for yourself.

What’s wrong, you think the internet police are gonna come get you? You can play the entire game, mess around with forge and whatever else, just don’t play online so your console doesn’t get banned.

It sounds like your encouraging him to do something illegal

What are you guys, like 10 years old? It’s a phuckin Halo disc, not a pound of -Yoink!- or stolen jewelry. If that situation occurred, just play the damn game
Seriously, stupid a.ss kids worrying about insignificant siht
I would play offline then go here a say what if the enemy was (who ever they are) or what if the had this kind of gun
I’d drop some hints and ideas that are real but make it seem like I’m just guessing lol
them they might know but I’d just play it off

Playing offline is fine, but if you do walk-thru videos on YouTube, JTV, or other sites like that, your account will get banned ultra quick. If you don’t care about those accounts, then f.uck it though.

> Sooo not wanting someone to go to jail for maybe 5 or 4 years and can loose the xbox account forever is bad. Right right that makes sense.
First off kid, it’s LOSE, not loose. And what part don’t you get about playing offline? You can play offline ALL damn day, and no one would ever know you even have Halo 4. And even if you DID play on Xbl with the game, the only thing that would happen is that your console would get banned. You would not go to jail. Seriously, you’re so naive you must be like 10 or 11 years old. That, or you’re mentally challenged
yea, i would probably go nuts if i had halo 4 right now, but here the catch: i want to play the campaign. inserts the discwait maybe someone wants to do the campaign with me. oh -Yoink-, they cant because i not suppose to have the game. maybe i will do forge. again nobody can watch me forge and help me. throws halo 4 under bed and plays halo reach with other people

That’s good thinking. People also do that with p.orn videos

You don’t have any family members or close friends you could play with offline? I’m sure you know SOMEONE in your area who plays Halo.
Besides, why not just do campaign and forge by yourself. Just so you can see what kind of weapons and maps there’s gonna be, what kind of vehicles, what kinds of enemies…
