I agree but the thing people are complaining about is legit- it is overpowered. The dmr in reach had too much bloom so it was fixed. people should be more thankful for the dmr and the other great weapons in this game but in both reach and 4 the dmr has had valid issues that require fixing.
I loved the DMR in Halo reach, but I hate it in Halo 4. If it was balanced more correctly I would like. I hate any gun that messes up the sandbox.
If the BR was overpowered I would be complaining just as much and hate it just as much as the DMR

It isn’t hypocritical to say that the one shot gun that was made is unbalanced. Balance it and there won’t be a problem.

Not because I believe you got what you asked for with the DMR (although plenty did). But because I have never come across a community who feels they deserve so much from a developer post release just because they spent £30 on a title. Anything I receive post-release I view as a bonus, not something that is owed to me.

Considering I’ve always loved the Halo 2 and Halo 3 BR the way it always has been I’m pretty sure I am no hypocrite,
I never wanted Reach or Halo 4 gameplay and I certainly never wanted the DMR. Everyone thinks that because someone loved Halo CE, 2, and 3 we must have complained each time one of those game released about how much better the previous one was. Don’t lump me in that false assumption ever. I loved all 3 and never complained. Reach is what started the downfall.

Yea I’ve gone back to just Cause 2… and GTA 4, and Bf3, Halo is fun imo to play with friends, like Borderlands 1/2 it sucks if there’s only one person. And if its only you playing your team has zero coordination. But yea, its not a terrible game but the DMR kinda taints it, since everyone uses it I try to use the Carbine, which is better if the other play has crappy aim but meh, with friends is better. It was a good first outing, maybe 343 will bring it back around with H5, then again, maybe not. Ya never know.

The BR is my favorite weapon in gaming history. 
Ha I wanted a better pistol than the one in Reach…
I enjoy both the BR and the DMR very much. I prefer the DMR, but I think I split my usages of the weapons rather evenly. BR for tight maps like Adrift/Simplex and DMR for Complex/Ragnorok type maps.
I don’t feel the DMR is over powered because every time I get into a close/mid ranged fight against a BR while using the DMR I usually lose. The DMR has an obvious advantage at long range while the BR is better up close. The biggest complaint I’ve seen is people that are pretty much shot and killed right as they spawn BECAUSE of the range of the DMR. However, I think that’s more of an issue with spawn points than the weapon itself…
OMG. this is like with the arguement of sprint. In the past people were like put “sprint” in, its so slow to walk around. Please 343 we love you.
Then of course sprint was implemented, and now the community is yelling at 343 saying you ruined halo, spint is OP, its ruins map flow.

The last good sonic game was sonic 3, virtually everything after wasn’t very good and this is coming from someone that still has the original genesis and sonic game.

I asked for a better Magnum, and a good AR.
Personally, I only use the dmr in long range. I also prefer the BR, as i love the burst.
First of all, calling everyone a bunch of hypocrites would most likelylead to a flame war as people do not appreciate being called that. Oh, it’s OUR fault? Did we ask for a stupidly overpowered starting weapon?
Second of all, I never asked for a single shot UNSC rifle, the sniper rifle exists too. I’m happy with the BR, I mostly want the DMR out because apparently there has to be two human precision load out weapon while the other two factions only get one, and the DMR is just plain overpowered. You can just cross-map the area, and trap the other team from top mid on Ragnorak. Sometimes just not move at all. You don’t even need to aim with that thing, just watch the bullet magnetism test for human weapons!
TC, allow me to pose a scenario.
Your H4 disk breaks, so you ask to come over to my house to play. You want to play Halo 4 at my house.
So I’m feeling in the mood for company so I invite you over.
While we’re playing Halo 4, I take a knife and stab you in the side with it.
When you complain about how I stabbed you with a knife, what if I replied, “What, YOU wanted to play Halo 4 over here, I gave you what you asked for!”
Immediately you can see that the problem was NOT “Giving you what you asked for”, the problem was forcing bad things upon you which you did NOT ask for.
Did people ask for a SINGLE SHOT WEAPON? Why yes I’m sure many of them did.
Did people ask for said weapon to have the highest bullet magnetism and aim-assist out of every weapon, break the sandbox, and completely unbalance the game? I don’t think too many did.
So you see TC, you don’t get to throw in a bunch of “Extra Bull**** for free!” and say that “That’s what you guys asked for!”. No, the community did NOT ask for “Extra Bull**** for free”
You don’t get to say “Well you asked for something GOOD, so its your fault when you were given something TERRIBLE!” No, it is not the community’s fault, it is 343’s fault. They were the ones unable to deliver what people ACTUALLY asked for without adding in a bunch of nonsense.
The truth is that you’re as bad as 343 is. You’re taking what people actually said, and adding in a bunch of nonsense to it. Who here asked for the DMR to have high bullet magnetism and aim assist? Who here asked for the game to be unbalanced? You’re inserting extra nonsense for no reason, just like 343 did.
Lastly, learn what a hypocrite is. Even if all of your arguments were true (They aren’t), it would make the community UNGRATEFUL, not hypocrites. A hypocrite is somebody who tells others not to do things, then does it themselves. An ungrateful person is somebody who does not appreciate what they have.
Most of those “hypocrites” you call out gave up on halo. You are basically talking to a brick wall.
