If you visit this thread leave a quick Warzone / WZFF tip behind! Bosses, weapons, maps, etc. doesn’t matter.
I’ll start.
If you got lemons, make lemonade.
Out of ammo? No fear, ground scores to be had! When fighting through 100 Crawler or 50 Elite rounds use their weapons against them. Using their own weaponry against them is mighty effective and more efficient timewise than running back to the last loadout station in sight. For instance, Bolt shots are great against Covenant since they tend to auto target their weak spots if you’re head on coming at them.
Your turn!
Anything you feel is solid general advice for WZ/WZFF. Not everyone is level 140+ with 40 days clocked in on their account, let’s be constructive lol.
I’ll leave a few
1- Complement your guns. If you have a mid-long range weapon in one slot, try to keep your other slot in the mid-short range sphere. That way, if something rushes you or tries to run off, you’re prepared.
2- Don’t be afraid to run from combat. This is an entirely viable tactic. If things seem to be getting hairy and you need to retreat a little ways for a breather, do it. It can save you aggravating respawn time or prevent people from taking your valuable reqs
3- Use vehicles, but not all of them. Those which you can both drive and fire by yourself are some of the best tools in the game (especially in WZFF): ghosts, wraiths, scorpions, etc etc. Learn where they’re effective in combat (Wraiths and Scorpions, for example, tend to do poorly in the heat of battle but can wreak havoc from a good distance). Avoid vehicles like Warthogs unless you have a teammate who you can trust to be a good shot and with whom you can communicate.
4- The following weapons are your best friends against AI: Plasma Pistol variants (for vehicles), Plasma Caster variants (all-purpose tool that wrecks most baddies), Binary Rifle variants (Try shooting Warden in the back with this. It is amazing), and Light Rifle variants (Prometheans get wrecked by this). I don’t use reqs outside of these too often for fighting AI, and I cycle based on the map and what the enemy team (in standard WZ) is doing.
5- Finally, the following weapons are excellent for fighting other players: DMR (duh), Carbine variants (Functionally similar to the DMR or BR), SAW variants (Best used in gunning down reckless enemies rushing a base, but useful in other situations as well), and the Railgun variants (My favourite guns in the game for PvP. The base variant and Whiplash are excellent anti-infantry guns, and Arclight can shred through lighter vehicles with one or two shots).
I have said this on a few threads, but I’ll say it here. I want as many people to know this as possible, because it’ll make the Grunt Mech a piece of cake if we can do it consistently.
Save up your “End of the Line” snipers. If Deacon Pipap comes around, snipe the front when it’s damaged. Apparently, it one-shots him, even if his canopy shield is still up. [ This ] is the clip that demonstrates that.
I still have no idea how it killed him.
Fastest way to deal with a hunter is to empty a needler clip into its orange back.
