Well the above name says it all. In Halo 4,5,6 we know some sad and emotional things will go down. We already know Chief and Cortana are getting more part and importance then before, and we have a whole list of others.
So, Any # of things, Try not to copy, yet either way what things [if done right] would make you sad/upset/angered/emotional.
1-Having some Chief flashback, could be in the eyes of Chief {John} having flashbacks of a child, the spartan program. If this was done right it could really show the more human side of Chief.
2-Cortana becoming fully rampant and you have to destroy her.
3-Chief meets any possible living Spartan II’s from his squad in Reach [sure someone with more knowledge could tell me if that’s at all possible]
4-The Arbiter and Chief become good allies and one of them ends up being killed, I assume it could work either way.
5-The Arbiter having some reflection of his life. Seeing how he’s the most dynamic character in the Halo games [Being a human hating high ranked Elite to being a heretic and killer of his former master]. Like #1 if done right could give him more feel.
I am predicting an Elite-Human war started by ONI after reading few chapts of Glasslands. So im hopeing that Rtas and Thel dont die.

Chief gets seduced by the dark side, kills a group of spartan younglings, and force chokes cor…tana… er- I might be thinking about something else…
These would be disappointing:
-Arbiter being killed for good (in cutscene or gameplay)
-Arbiter not appearing in the game
-Arbiter being unkillable like Noble Team AI
-Arbiter AI being terrible
-no 2 Arbiters glitch
-Arbiter unable to use weapons like the brute shot and hammer
-Arbiter appearing only in 1 level
Now enough of the Arbiter. Now it’s time for general worries:
-enemy AI being killed off by the game
-OP pelicans doing my job for me… and killing me when I try to interfere
-friendly AI getting in driver seat and driving off unless I shoot desperately
-friendly AI getting out of vehicle when I leave for only 5 seconds
-enemy AI being damage sponges
-friendly AI sharing the same AI
-checkpoint system. They really should make a checkpoint menu like in Halo PC and separate save from quit. There could also be a in-game load checkpoint option that would allow you to access previous checkpoints and if you like it, then you could save and overwrite over the checkpoint you had before accessing.
Finally, the stuff that’s actually relevant:
-Guilty Spark moments (I happened to like him)
-flashback to some previously unknown moment in Chief’s life that is relevant to his current condition
-reveals the sorrows, oppression, life struggles of humans, Elites, Gravemind, Forerunners, Precursors if any, and all Covenant species except Jackals and Drones. Who the hell gives a -Yoink- about Jackals and Drones? I can understand Brutes but Jackals and Drones must never return!!
i think jackals are awesome because you actually need some skill to kill them and when you stick them you feel awesome because it is damn hard and can help you get better accuracy with plasma nades and it only takes one or two shots to kill them with a percision weapon.
Here’s one in the time Chief has been away [say a few years] Humanity prospers in technolgy and goes and gets “revenge” on the species in The Covenant, including the Elites. When Chief comes back you learn humanity had been gathering up Elites and killing them. You learn about 70% of the Elites were murdered by the more advanced Humans.
Yet The Arbiter is still alive yet hates you, so you lost an ally because your people got power hungry. Perhaps during the game you would have to fix things somehow.
death of arbiter or chief or cortana i already had to go through losing jhonson and captian keys and his daughter i dont want to do it again…
That feel when you realize, what if by Halo 6 when you are really attached to The Arbiter and he ends up being killed, yet you don’t even know for the entire game until the end. Then when the battle is finished for good you hear that your ally for all those years was killed and you didn’t even get to see him in his final moments ;_;
If you can still not swim
No boat vehicals
if Chief,Arbiter,Cortana dies
No easter eggs relating to the other Halo games
You wont swim. Too heavy. You’d need like nuke energy in each limb to swim.

this may sound wierd but i think that the saddest way for the trilogy to end would be if John lives. Let me explain myself- I spent the entire run up to halo 3 thinking chief would die by the end of the game, if the fight is finisged than he no longer has a purpose he has spent most of his life relying on fighting to save the human race. If there was no war there would be no need for spartans.
BTW- It would be extra sad if either he or cortana died and the other lived… Tear

sad moments in the future halo games would be:
Not seeing any Elites
Never re-establishing contact with the humans and being stuck where ever the frigate went to
Saddest moment for me:
-not being able to see any elites
-Arbiter dies :C
Saddest moment would be when Arbiter or Cortana dies. But that will be Halo 5 or 6 because their characters haven’t been fully developed to a personal just quite yet.
Well we know Chief, Arbiter, Cortana, Hood or whoever would be sad to have die. Yet remember Halo 4,5,6 will have new people who could bring attachments.
