Your "Top 5" for the Title Update

  1. For all 7 CEA maps, why didn’t you guys update the weapon graphics to fit Halo CEA? The assault rifle still looks like it did in Reach, same with every other gun. In Halo 3 bungie put the 7-wood in sandbox, which was just a gravity hammer with a golf club skin and a new reticule, and they did this without a title update even. You guys have the upper hand, you already made the Models for the CEA weapons, you have a title update coming, and the game is 2.5 months away from being released. Shouldn’t it be easy to reskin all the Halo Reach weapons with weapons from the CEA campaign? As well as reticles?

  2. I am not pre judging, but please take off or drastically reduce aim acceleration and aim assist and bullet magnetism so that the game is more skilled. I understand if their is just a tiny bit of bullet magnetism, we live in an age of noobfriendlyness, but please don’t put any aim acceleration.

  3. If it is at all possible, and i doubt it, but if it is, MAKE DUAL WIELDING POSSIBLE AGAIN!!<< Trust me, if its a custom gametype option people will be happy. Or better yet, save this for a Halo 2 Remake.

  4. Put the flamethrower as a forge object in the 6 competitive multiplayer maps. Only if its possible of course. and please do the same for the fuel rod cannon,that was a great gun i loved it.

  5. Please have the TU be applicable to Firefight as well.

What I think the title update should have .

  1. we should have spartan base traits and elite base traits for game types
  2. make it so we can use the passenger seats in falcon
    3.make objects on the forge set to normal physics move all the time
  3. pelicans and elaphants WOOT!
  4. more armory and stuff in armory(bring back rouge, hybusa, katana,etc)
    just some suggestions from one humble gamer to another.
  1. Flood in firefight. It makes sence that they aren’t available in odst and reach, but they ARE in CE.

2.leave armor lock alone. maybe proceed with the already stated tweaks to be made, But any weaker and it will be useless.

  1. Make rally a regular part of Matchmaking. I wanna race but cant!

  2. Team varients that allow you to maintain your armor color. (like Zombies)

Ability to change stats of individual weapons and/or vehicles.

Incorperate More of the DLC into regular matchmaking. I bought your maps Because I wanna play them. every time
I choose premium, everybody picks sword base. did I waste my money? tempest is forgeable, and I see no sweet Tempest forge maps in your matchmaking!

I only have three

  1. Banshee- A good pilot will constantly use the evade making it near impossible to kill with the rockets and plasma ball launcher, the laser is nearly as useless but can kill it. Sadly there are very few maps with banshees that have a laser on them. Making the banshee use part of it’s boost to evade would easily fix the problem.

  2. Invasion Slayer- With even teams Spartans win, hands down. Tier 1 the elites have nothing to match the magnums at range and the plasma repeaters tend to lose in battles with the AR. Tier 2 the elites have the banshee to attempt to make a come back. Then Tier 3 brings in the Scorpion for the Spartans which the Elites can do very little about. This would need a lot of work to fix… Tier 1, Replaceing the Plasma repeater with a plasma rifle would be a start but not sure how Tier 3 could be fixed with out drastically decreasing the Scorpion’s accuracy.

  3. Action sack- This has always been a playlist of fun random game types, but so far in reach that is not the case. Game types like shotgun assault, power slayer, and shotty snipers should be moved to more appropriate playlist like swat, team slayer, and team snipers respectfully. They should be replaced with more random game types like dogeball and team sumo. Also a soft kill zone needs to be added over the goals in Haloball Extreme to stop goal tending on the 1 point ring.

My Top 5
1-Remove bloom. Ruined reach. (opinion)
2- Make more playlists without bloom in them, I don’t want to be stuck in one playlist simply because i dislike bloom.
3- Add more fun gametypes to action sack, I’ve been seeing a lot of VIP idea’s floating around.

Yes I mentioned bloom 3 times. I hate it that much.

TOP 5 THINGS I WILL LIKE BEING CHANGE WILL BE:

1 - 1 - 50 Ranking System

2 - No Bloom

3 - Fix Theater

4 - No Armor Abilities In Rank

5 - Bring Back Power Ups In Rank

1) Change bloom to make it punish spammers! So, if someone is spamming the DMR/Magnum/Needle Rifle, only 10% of the time will their shots actually land on the player they’re shooting at. So if they were to spam 10 shots at a player, only 1 out of those 10 will hit the player; the rest will go elsewhere. Of course this would only be for long - mid range.
For weapons like the Assault Rifle, the bloom wouldn’t be tweaked too much, but perhaps reduced by 10% or so…
2) Armour lock: It lasts too long. Also, if you were to throw a grenade at the armour locked person, they would take small amounts of damage/ lose a large section of the energy bar thing so they come out of armour lock faster…
Get rid of the EMP - instead, replace it with like a force push thing. So when they come out of armour lock, anyone standing next to them gets thrown back a few feet.
3) Splash damage = RAGE. Decrease it by at least 15%-25%! I can just take 1 shot from a DMR or a tiny bit of fall damage, then someone will throw a grenade at my feet and I die! All I say is “FOR !?@# SAKE!” when that happens.
GET RID OF IT PLEASE! :smiley:
4) Somehow fix host connection advantage. No I’m not a try hard, but I do like fair play. If I’m playing in matchmaking, and I see those shots going into the enemy, but they’re not taking damage, then I do get quite frustrated… I also hate the fact that host can let people shoot through walls…
To sum up, number 4 up: GET RID OF HOST ADVANTAGE! PLEASE! :smiley: Somehow… I doubt you can :frowning:
5) Make jet pack last longer by just a mere 5%! I can be jetpacking along, and I’m just about to land… but, I run out of jetpack and fall to my death.

  1. MORE PLAYLISTS. Juggernaut, VIP, Race, Classic multi 2 person multi team (as well as 3 man multi team)
  2. remove armor lock (or fix it WELL)
  3. add some new ranks. Inheritor is lame and I hardly have and incentive to get to it (I’m on legend… and since it’s a sweet -Yoink- flaming skull, I really don’t feel the need to progress to… what… a half moon?) maybe if the final rank was BEAST, I’d play this -Yoink- all day and night
  4. make a playlist with some maps where getting the Armor Ability is what everyone wants to do (like a very vertical map where everyone has sprint, and there are a few jetpacks in the map)
  5. CUSTOM INVASION GAMES PLAYLIST. I mnust have played the 3 invasion maps 500 times each. I’m tired of this -Yoink-. Look around, find some sweet custom invasion maps, host them on a new playlist (or just on the invasion playlist.)

1). More RANKED playlists, to include FFA, SWAT, Doubles, Snipers, BTB. Big Priority

2). Removal of Arena seasons - but make True Skill adaptable to change so going up/down after 100s games is still possible at normal rate

3). Make grenades more reliable, rather than killing fully shielded person and others barely scratching them

4). Removal of armour lock FULL STOP.

5). Remove maps that are not fair - Reflection (unless spawns manipulated), Pinnacle and Think Twice.

Well thought out man. I much enjoy those ideas!

1./ more ranked playlists like the old halos - ZB being one of them (with alterations of course - ie automatics need sorting and pistol)
2./ Jetpackers should spawn with less grenades
3./ 85% bloom as standard setting
4./ other armour abilities able to be used - ie bubble shield
5./ Bring back equipment!!!

I agree 100 % with all 5. I Really need to see a better ranking system. we all do.

I love this but would prefer AAs to be changed via pickups rather then lost to pickups…

and Id say the grenades “float” - its like having a pneumatic robot arm - lol
