- Remove/severely alter bloom.
- Revert back to Halo 3’s melee system.

Return most, if not all the weapons to their beta states. I much preferred the weapon balance in the beta. The sandbox was balanced because the weapons were good, not because they were all nerfed so hard that they became “balanced”. (Major emphasis on the Magnum here, that thing was epic, and now it is not so)

Make adjustments to bloom/aim assist/magnetism (I’m not a technical expert on the subject) so that players that aim well and actually let the bloom reset are rewarded instead of not penalizing players that ignore the bloom altogether.

Remove/reduce aim acceleration. Aim acceleration has been pretty heavy in Halo 3 and Reach, and make aiming and player movement sluggish. A reduction or removal makes player movement and aiming much smoother and a more enjoyable experience for the player.

DLC integration. To be blunt, DLC integration in Reach is poor. Now there is apparently a matchmaking search filter that attempts to match you with other players that have the same maps as you, but in reality the results are inconsistent. Personally, it doesn’t seem to work at all for myself. I have a pair of suggestions. First, increase the strength of the matchmaking algorithm, so that player match up with others with DLC. A second suggestion is to add a search filter that the player can control, alongside ‘skill’, ‘connection’, and ‘language’ so that the player can choose him or herself to find others with DLC even if it will lengthen search times.
I know I have already started my top 5 suggestions, but just food for thought:
I really dislike how easy the Sniper has become to use, in the past you would have needed good movement and map control to really dominate in Team Snipers, but with Reach I am finding that the games tend to play a lot more defensively. Most players that I spot when for example I play on Hemmorage seem to simply find somewhere to crouch and then wait for an enemy to come into theyre line of sight. Whilst realistic, this doesnt make for good gameplay, and is a pretty big departure from the older style of gameplay. Sure it happened on Halo 3 but not to this extent. I have also noticed this gameplay on maps like Highlands.
I think that the ease of sniping is too blame, people are wary of venturing out and know that as long as they spot the enemy first that the actual shot is the easy part. I think that if the aim assist was toned down then the actual map control and movement would take precedence over hanging back and waiting for the easy kill.
I also forgot to mention that I would love it if the nade placement AND damage was tinkered with, rather than just placement but to be honest I think placement is my biggist issue with them.
Totally forgot to mention assists aswell, but now that the Arena system has changed I guess im not as fussed.
Also, if individual damage modifiers are added for each weapon, having the option to also set bullets per clip would be amazing, I know I would love just an extra bullet in my Pistol. 
Ahh… I love the Halo Bulletin every Wednesday. BTW 343i, Wort Wort Wort speech bubble for elites would be awesome, and so would Rainbow Effect from Spartans… Just sayin. Also add a few more Elite Armors and Spartan Armors into the Armory. It was kind of hard to tell if you were serious about the “X” button but that would be an awesome gesture addition to Halo which I am sure would be greatly welcomed. Adds a bit of flavor to watching someone die!
1. Finalize the Frame Rate and graphics quality because it seems as if the map textures aren’t as smooth as they should be. Reach has the potential to look amazing in HD but all I see mainly are the unrendered textures all over the place, especially in Forge World.
2. Bloom must be changed to eliminate any form of spamming to result in a kill. I am quite sure your all ready playing a better version of Reach with a tweaked bloom which must be awesome. We want Team Pistols, and DMR gametypes to play solid. With a working bloom that increases kill speeds allowing individual players to knock out overkills if they are skilled enough. Making Montages what they used to be back in the day. Pistol, Close to medium death range and DMR, Medium to Long Death Range. Do not let them fall out of their specific niche’s any way else.
3. AA’s balanced. Armor Lock balanced to gameplay along with all other Armor Abilities. Evade for Spartans knocked down to scale and maybe longer duration between each individual use. As for other AA’s such as Camo, JetPack, and Holo, I’m sure your Devs have great idea’s for better balance. Pros/Cons.
4. Vehicle physics, mostly the Warthog, to make it stay more planted to the ground like the previous Warthogs in other games. It fly’s around waaay too easily on just a hint of a Grenade. Also, you know how over powered the banshee is with its unlimited barrel rolls and flips. Make the Banshee bomb take long to recharge as well with a smaller, more skillful blast radius. Gauss Warthog, well you know… make it to where it doesn’t shoot through Forge Pieces.
5. Movement speed, Please increase the default movement/walk speed since Reach maps are larger in scale and must be accomadated for. Our AA’s should be a boost in speed, not the necessary speed for primary movement. This just makes us as players take forever to aid our teammates or get into map control on the fly. Jump height is fine BTW, it is the best jump height in any Halo game since now we don’t need to jump all over the place to have a gun battle. Just strict strafing and gunplay.
These are pretty much my top 5 for the Title Update… but their are many other things that I’m sure you allready know of. Please increase the Armory greatly! I want to see more variety in Reach armor, Elites and Spartans. Can’t wait to see the actual list of the Title Update changes that you guys have all ready listed out but I know we must wait close to next month. HaloFest is going to be awesome for our community and we cannot wait!

1: Make vehicles drivable again, no more flipping and barely able to turn on warthogs, make the takes easy to drive. actually just make them drive like they did in halo 3, that sounds bout right.
2: remove/replace armour lock, armour lock is annoying
3: Add some new armour and effects, it gets pretty boring when your a high rank and you’ve bought everything
4: Bloom, fix it
5: add moa racing/tournaments. make them ridable. also make new forge maps, put more vehicles like the truck from the campaign in forge.

- Bring back H3 Sword Duels. They never ended unless one person is outskilled.

This isn’t really TU related as much as it’s related to the general way I’d like to see the playlists managed:
Don’t feel like you need to put every Armor Ability in every gametype.
Look at the game today, it seems like as long as an AA won’t make a gametype completely unplayable, it’ll be tossed in. Team Objective is a great example of this, it had armor lock and drop shield in it for the longest time, seeminly because there were two empty loadout slots and the AL and DS could be shoehorned into the game. It took about 7 months before it was realized that they were detrimental to the game and they were removed.
So for each gametype in matchmaking, look at every AA carefully before choosing to make it available.
“Would Splockets be better or worse with Armor Lock?” “Should there be Active Camo in Oddball?” “What is the effect of using Jetpacks in Team Slayer?”
These are the questions that should be asked about everything in matchmaking. Don’t shoehorn things into the game just because you can, make very careful efforts to use only what makes the game more enjoyable.
- Expand the DMR full bloom to match the Needle Rifle’s full bloom. Bloom reset should be a touch faster. Nerf the DMR’s damage against vehicles.
- Implement 110% damage and 75% melee across all playlists. This will buff the Needle Rifle and nerf sprinting double-melee attacks.
- Implement drop spawns on all power weapons.
- Place a 20-second cooldown on both the Banshee’s evade and Fuel-Rod cannon.
- Harshen penalties on quitters, AFk players and betrayals.

While I’m sure a lot of people post nade/spawn/bloom etc I’m going to go for a point of view which increases the longetitivty:

Add new FireFight Voices: Red vs Blue cast (I want to kill someone and here Tex voice kick in), missing ODST voices, other misc voices like the voices from Halo Wars or even Covenant. I also want this transferable into multiplayer.

Add new medals; expand on current ones and add new ones. Like:
- assassinate someone in SWAT
- get 20+ kills it one weapon in one match
- survive infection without getting infected
- get the last kill in inflection
- add a 4th tier for the guns
- add some weapons that aren’t there (but make them harder if they’re standard like the 1st tier would only be 10 for the BR)
- Kill two enemies with one sniper shot
- Laser 2 enemies with one shot (throw fun at the halo 3 achievement)
I’m not saying add a whole tons of new medals for every action the player does, but sometimes you should be rewarded.

Add new armour, add new emblems (50+ on both sides) and new armour effects; like a new armour effect for zombie headshot or the ones bs angel mentioned
But reall cool ones and make some sick challenges like complete Halo campaign on LASO to unlock it etc. -
Double assassinations. Someone’s assassinating why can’t I assassinate with him? Hit Left Bumper for Yoink, hold for double.

Add the remaining 100 gamerscore points for a super tough achievement (but do-able) like the BOB mystery or LASOS.

Customizable weapons/equipment. I want my DMR to have certain attributes. I want my melee to have certain attributes as well. Grenades, throw 'em in there too. Think Armor Lock could have been good, but was designed improperly? Now you can change it to what you want.

Fix known bugs, like Gauss rounds and Forge objects.

Incorporate more FF variants into MM.

Have the Arena feel more like the SC2 laddering system. Arena is kinda clunky(I think) and could be more apparent to the player aside from an arbitrary number between 0 and 2000.

New Forge World. Or better yet, a “Forge World map pack” that way we don’t have framerate issues, because the map is so -Yoinking!- big.

Remove at least Armor Lock, preferably jetpack too from all matchmaking. Armor lock from the entire game.

Fix bloom, or remove it and set the DMR shots to longer intervals, and give it a spread so it doesn’t dominate at long range, but not enough so that it doesn’t have random outcomes at short/medium ranges.

Fix the way matchmaking pairs people so that there is no more “2’s trick”. Look it up if you don’t know what it is.
