Your "Top 5" for the Title Update

Here’s my longer more detail list of what i want to see in the Halo Reach Title Update, As you see 343i is planning to make a title update and wants to hear want we want to see in the Title Update, Most of the people i heard want to see Armor lock & The Bloom treaked or removed and want to have a better ranking system, But i have something better mind heres my ideas for the Title update.

  1. Update Forge with New Stuff.

A. Let us create our own variants for Basic Editing.
We should be have the option to save our own Variants for Forge so for example if we always to be super powerful for every forge game wehad to adjust the traits every time, But if we were able to save Variants for Basic Editing so we can have our traits for forge games without having to change settings all the time.

B. Let us change the gametype during the game.
Back in Halo 3 we can change gametypes during a game of forge but in this game we can’t instead we have to save & exit a gameof forge then change the gametype then start the forge game again but with different gametype. Please give us back the option to change the gametype during a forge game.

C. Update forge Weapon settings.
When it comes to highlighting weapons there sa clip option to set which how many spare clips can be in this weapon but in some cases this function is defective on some weapons due to being battery powered and such. So the Spare Clip option should be replaced with the Battery count option for Battery powered weapons and you choose elther 25, 50, 75, 100(Default), 125, 150, 175, or 200 percent of battery energy for that weapon. Also when it comes to adding the Grenade launcher in forge it while the Greande Launcher can carry up to 15 spare grenades for this weapon in forge you can only add up to 5 spare grenades for the grenade launcher, so fix it by leting us adding up to 15 spare clips for the Grenade Launcher. Another option for weapons in forge is replace the pyshics option for the weapons with Stay in Air Option where the weapon will stay in the air but once that weapon has been picked up by a player and then he drops it then that weapon will just drop like Normal instead of staying stuck in the air all the time.

D. Add new forge opjects.
Maps should be updated with new forge objects or forge objects that should’ve been added to taht map anyways. Here’s the list.
*Every map should have Shield walls, Like Blue shield walls you can pass through, Red Shield walls you can’t pass through, And One way shield walls. Plus they should always be apart of the Scenery Catagory instead of the Gadgets catagory. Anchor 9 should have Shield wall 1’s replaced with Red shield walls which do the same job of not letting you pass though except they’re red so you can tell the differnce, And it should also have one-way shield walls aswell. And Forge world(And Tempest) should have the Sheild walls moved to the Scenery catagory and insulde Red Sheild walls you can’t pass though and have One way shields wall say Small, Medium Large, XLarge(Add), Instead of 2, 3, & 4.
*Maps that don’t have all the gadgets like some maps(Ex: forge world) should have all the gadgets anyways, All the lights, All the Special FX’s, All the toys you name it.
*Forge world(& Tempest) should insulde forge objcets from other maps, Like Dumpsters, Vending Machines, Crates & stuff that appear in other maps aside from this one.

E. Let us add more light.
What i mean by that is let us add more lights (I mean really we can only add up to 2 lights? What the hell?) AT let us add up to 10 or more lights then that would be great. Also if we have Red & Yellow flashing lights, then also add Blue, Green, Orange, Purple, & White flashing lights.

F. Add new Vehicles into forge.
What i mean by that is add some new Vehicles into forge for us to use in our custom maps. Whatever its from the Campaign or somewhere else just try and do it so here the following suggestions.
*Add a different version of the Falcon where it has a M638 Autocannon for the pilot to use but there are no turrets on this Falcon but instead Players can ride on teh Passager seats and use thier own weapons while riding, Though only up to 3 players should ride on the Falcon. There hsould also be a Grenade version of the Falcon where it works like our Current Falcon(The one with Machine gun turrets and pilot cabn’t shoot and no passager seat access.) But instead of Machine Gun Turrets it has Grenade Launcher turrets.
*Add a different a version of the Banchee where it has NO Fuel Rod cannons at all and intstead players must relay on thier Plasma raipid Fire cannons.
*Add those Green Fuel rod Shades for us to use. You know the ones that work like Shade turrets except they fire Green Homing fuel rods instead.
*There should be Stationary versions of those warthog Turrets, Like add a Stationary Chaingun Turret, A Stationary Missile Turret, And a Stationary Gauss turret.
#(In fact now that i think about the Turrets should have thier own Catagory instead being part of the weapons & Vehicles. The Turrets would have Machien Gun Turret, Plasma turret, Shade turret, Fuel Rod Shade, And Stationary verions of the warthog Turrts. Most of these turrets should appear in All maps Vehicles or not.)
*Add those Civilan Cars that we used in the Winter Contingincy mission You can change its colors by viewing its settings.
*Add Forklifts…Everybody likes Forklifts in Reach Right?
*Give us an option to change the color of the Warthogs like it can arrange from Default(Sage green), Red, Blue, Yellow, Brown, White(Snow), & Brown.
*Now this is just a maybe but how adding an Anti-AIr Wraith you know those Crismon Colored Wraiths that uses AA Fuel Rod Cannons instead of Plasma Mortar Launchers, Those ANti-Air Wraiths would be good for Custom maps. But as for its Fuel Rod cannon it should be nerfed to work like the warthogs Missile turret, Except the Driver gets to use it and instead of Rockets It fires Fuel Rods(Fuel Rods that can lock-on to Air Vehicles).
*Also Add the Revernant to maps like Boneyard, Tempest & Breakpoint…I have no idea why the Revernant is not available in those maps.

G. Add an option to change the color of the Forge Structer objects.I’ve heard plenty of people don’t like forge maps cause the forge objects used for these maps are grey boring to them. So how about some color to forge by giving us the option to change the color of thsoe forge Structer objects the colors arrange from Default, Red, Orange, Yellow, Lime(Light Green), Green, Aqua, Cyan(Light Blue), Blue, Purple, Pink, Brown and white.

  1. Update the Firefight Settings.

Okay now lets talk about Firefight settings people, I sure with a Title update we can fix up or add some new settings for Firefight and here’s my list of what needs to be added for Firefight.

A. Update Skull Settings.
Okay for one i think they need to add a setting where you can add skulls to a Set, After back in halo 3 ODST when you enter a New Set and new skull becomes active but in this game it does’nt work like that anymore, So why not give us an option to add skulls on SET 2, SET 3, SET 4, & SET 5. That outta make progression look tougher, And also add two skulls to Firefight like the Thunderstorm skullwhere almost very enemy has been upgarded to the Highest rank, And how about adding 4th Green Custom skull, yeah we have 3 but adding one more could’nt hurt and it work for Skull Progression via SET’s.

B. Update enemy spawning.
Now for when it comes to enemy spawning I think tehre should be options then just Dropships on/Off, How about a setting where how enemys spawn from. No Transport(WHich when Dropships are Disabled), Phantoms, Spirits, Phantom & Spirit, or Droppods(Where every enemy spawn from Drop Pods). There should also be an more options for the hazard setting like there’s ‘Always’ where the enemy vehicle/Hazard will always appear so like once you destroy taht enemy it will jsut appear again for the next wave, ANd then theres once per round where that kind of hazrad will only appear once per round, also Drop Pods should seperated from the Hazrads and be its own setting section, Likes theres an option to adjust how many minutes will it atke for the drop pod enemys to appear, An option where if the Drop pod enemies can appear in the Bonus Round or not, And an option to set which enemies will appear from the Drop Pod, Up to 3 kinds can appear for the game, Choices are Fuel Rod Grunts, Concussion Brutes, Ultra Elites, & new types like Focus Skrimihsers(gold Skrimishers with Focus Rifles), Grenade Elites, (Minor Heretic Elites with grenade Launchers), Also Drop pod enemies should appear in all maps even if it does’nt surport Drop pods they should still appear anyway via Drop-SHip or just outta nowhere.

C. Update Ordenace Settings.
What i mean by that is adding new settinsg that envole Ordenace weapons like set how many weapon Drop-Pods will appear, Like you can set it to 0, 1, 2, or 3, And also add a target Locater Option Like you can set to disabled, 1, 2, or 3,(the Numbers mean how many shots will the Traget locater have per round, Also if teh Traget Locater is Dropped it should always let us know where the Target locater is so we won’t lose it.

D. Update Lives settings.
There should be an option to set how many lives will we be given per round, And an option to set if our lives are shared or sperated(So each player has thier own set of lives). And also add an option to set how many points will we need to get in the Bonus round in order to earn Bonus lives.

E. Add new enemy groups.
Now finnaly for the big one of this bunch add new enemy groups to encounter in firefight and here’s teh following that should be inculded.
*Drones(Seriously why is these Buggers not in Firefight they were in Halo 3 ODST firefight so why not this game?)
*Drones Patrol(Half Drones, Half Grunts)
*Drones Infantry(Half Drones, Half Jackels)
*Drones Skirmish(Half Drones, Half Skirmishers)
*Brute Drones(Half drones, Half Elites)
*Elite Drones(Half Drones, Half Elites)
*Hunter Drones(Drones with Hunters)
*Drone Strike Team(Drones with Ranger Elites and Grunts.)
*Drone Attack Team(Drones with Brutes leading jackels)
*Elites & Grunts(Half Elites, half Grunts)
*Elites & Jackels(Half Elites, Half jackels)
*Sniper Attack Force(Half Marksman Elites, Half jackel Snipers)
*Zealot Patrol(Zealot Elites leading Spec op Grunts)
*Zealot Snipers(Zealot Elites leading jackel Snipers)
*Spec Ops Attack Force(Half Spec op Elites, Half Spec op Grunts)
*Marksman Elites(Elites weilding marksman Covenant weapons like the Needle Rifle & Focus Rifle)

*Variaty Elites(All types of Elites inculde Minor Elite Squad, Major Elite Squad, Ultra Elite Squad, Ranger Elite Squad, Spec Op Elite Squad, & Zealot Elite squad[2 Zealots, 1 General, 1 Field Marshall].)
*Zealot Elites(12 Zealot Elites with 3 Field Marshalls.)
*Heretic Grunts(Grunts using Heretic Weapons like Magnums and heavy ones using Rocket Launchers & Spartan Lasers.)
*Heretic Sniper Jackels(Jackles using Human Sniper weapons liek the DMR and Sniper Rifles)
*Heretic Skirmishers(Skirmishers using Human weapons like Magnums, DMR’s & Sniper Rifles.)
*Heretic Patrol(Heretic Elites leading Heretic Grunts.)
Sniper Heretic Infantry(Heretic Elites leading Heretic Jackels using only human Sniper weapons.)
*Chieftan Brute Force(12 Brutes, 3 Brute Chieftans)
*Elite Attack Force(8 Minor/Major Elites, 8 Rnager Elites & 2 General Elites)
*Elite Brute Force(The two Rivaled races Elites & Brutes are working together to battle agianst thier true enemy.)
*Bosses(The Baddest of the Covenant are working together to battle agianst the Spartans. 2 Hunters, 2 Brute Chieftans, & 2 Elite Generals)
*All-Stars(4 grunts, 4 jackels, 4 Skirmishers, 4 Brutes, 4 Elites, & 4 Drones.)
Woah thats a lot anyways i hope you can accept this idea now lets move on shall we…

  1. Update the Custom games with new settings and such.
    This is going to be a long list of stuff of what i want to see be added into this title update so heres a list of what custom games settings should be added…

A. New traits settings.

*Add Armor Ability Settings which should inculde Armor Ability Usage rate, Armor Ability Recharge rate and the Equipment Usage setting and starting Equipemnt should be moved from the weapoons settings to the Armor Ability settings.(NOTE: This should allow you to change how long Armor Abilitys can last and how long will it take to recharge so if you want to nerf Armor lock change the usage settings so armor lock will be less used.)

*Add Grenade settings like Starting frag Greandes, Starting plasma Greandes, Frag Grenbade stock limit, Plasma Grenade stock limit, Frag grenade Regeneration, Plasma Grenade Regernation, Grenade Pick-up, & Greande Damage modifier.(NOTE: You guys need to bring back the Greande Regernation setting from Halo 3, And give us an option to set how many greabndes we carry up too even though we can start with 4 grenades we can’t restock up to 4 grenades, which is why the grenade stock limit option should be added.)

*Add turrent Settings and inculde Turrent usage, Starting Turrent(So we can spawn with a Turrent in our hands in the start and it can be a Machine Gun Turrent or a Plasma Gun Turrent,)Infinte Turrent ammo (So we can have infinte ammo for the turrent even when its detacted,) Turrent Movement(Its on by default but when its off we can like normal when we hold a turrent.).

*Add a Bottomless Cup setting instead of just being apart fo the infinte ammo setting so that way with Bottomless Cup as a seperate setting we can use it so we don’t have to reload even if we have limited ammo, If we want Infinte ammo with no reload we turn both Bottomless cup and infinte ammo on.

*Add Uber Camo setting for the Active camo settings. And give us an option set our Overshield to 2.5 & 3.5. And maybe add a Melee Bleed through setting if you can.*And finnaly if you can add Vehicle traits, Gunner traits, & Hi-Jacker traits to Rocket Race then these options should also appear for all of the gametypes.

B. Add Loadout Traits and other loadout stuff.
The loadouts should ahve traits settings so that each laodout can have different Traits thsi can be useful for a gametype i thought up where each laodout gives you special traits like one can give you extra damage, and another loadout can give you an Overshield, It can also be useful for normal gametypes where each Armor ability has been adjusted because you adjusted the amro ability usgae/recharge rta esettings so teh most powerful/overused amro abilitys can be overused/overpowered, When selecting a laodout it already shows teh traits settings and if you wnat to choose a weapon go to the weapon settings and if you want to adjust how many greandes this laodout can give you go to the greande settings and if you want to choose an armor ability for this loadout you go to the armor ability settings. The loadout traits also should show you the options to hide thsi laodout or not and change the name of this loadout but i think we shouldk have the ability to make our own names for the loadouts. And also the this laodout settings should never be shown in most gametypes(Only Invasion Skirmish slayer can have those settings) besides they provide no point whats so ever with a minor exception for Infection since Tire 1 is for Human loadouts and Tier 2 is for the Zombie laodouts But for infection it should replace the the tier loadouts selection with a Human Tier & Zombie Tier loadouts selection.NOTE: The new options i’ve stated from A & B of this part should also apply for Firefight games.

C. New Speices Settings.
The general Settings should have a Speices Option like you can to Spartans Only, Elites Only, Perfered Speices(Which mean you can be a Spartan or an Elite if you want depending on what your perfered speices is set to) And then theres the Sparatns Verses Elites Setting where the game has two teams The green Spartans Team and the Purple Elites team it will allow you to play a game of sparatans verses Elites without the Invasion stuff it acn work on any team related gametype even on Infection where if its on the normal players with be Spartans and the Zombie players will be Elites. If the game of Sprtans versus Elites is round based then it will be a game of red vs Blue, The Red Team will be SPartans at Start while the Blue Team will be Elites at start and when the next round beings the teams willl swap speicesand as for attack/defence gametypes the speices taht will be the attacking team will depend on the Attacking team Setting in the gametype options. However evn if the SPartan & Elites are color coded(Red vs Blue or Green vs purple & What not) they will not have fixed colors on thier player models during the game instead players will have thier default colors, and the only difference we can tell whos our ally and enemy will depend on which speices your on fi your a SPartan then teh spartans are your allies and the Elites are your enemy, the same can be said for Elites, Afetr all in Firefight versus we get to keep our default colors even if we are on the Red or Blue team.

D. New Slayer Settings.
If Capture the Flag can have slayer scroing then so can Assault, King of the Hill, Oddball, & maybe Stockpile. Also FFA Slayer should ahve new ways to score bonus points like Assist Bonus, Revenge Bonus, & greande kill Bonus In my view i wanted to make a SLayer gametype where you score 10 points for a kill & 5 Points for getting an Assist. Moving on, Slayer options menu should inculde Bro SLayer option which by Default is set to disabled but you can turn it on by setting a number to it, The number indicatings how many players can you bro-spawn with, And in Bro-Slayer it should also let you know where the other players even if your not Bro spawn partners with them, This updated Bro Option should apply to Invasion & Skirmish Slayer. There should also be a new Slayer gametype called Vehicle Slayer Where its like Rally/Rocket Race but instead of getting to goals you kill other players using your Vehicle though only use one selected Vehicle to kill each other, theres a setting where which vehicle does you and other players have to use, Options inculde Ghosts(1), Mongooses(2), Warthogs(2-3)(Chaingun, Missile or Gauss Turret.), Ghosts(1), Revernants(1-2), Banchees(1)(With or Without Fuel Rod Cannons), Turret Falcons(2-3), AutoCannon Falcons(1-3), Falcons With AutoCannonss & Grenade launcher Turrets(2-3), And Wraiths(1-2). The numbers i type out is for the seat options for team games it should set how players per vehicle should in one per vehicle 1, 2 or 3, Each vehiclke i mention has numbers that indicate how many palyers can be suitable for this vehicle.

  1. Update Credit/Arena system.
    Okay i think the credit system needs to be updated in order to encourage playes to actually try and win and go for the objective goal. Like add a Winning bonus for winning the game though the winning bonus would be bigger if you were playing an objective game. And you can make your winning bonus bigger if you score more Objective points even to its score limit and teh faster you do it the bigger the winning bonus would be esspecially to balance out the low game Completion for winning quick objective games. Also The Arena needs some changes to work better like for one the winning bonuses in The Arena should have twice the number of credits like how The Arena Jackpot machine gives you twice the number of credits. And also you should earn credits for completing 4 games per day the higher your rating is the more credits you earn for getting that rating. Also players should be rewarded with lots of credits for earning a Division the Higher teh Division is the credits you get rewarded for earning it. And plus Arena Divisions should be shown in When you’re in any playlist not just the arena it would be nice to show off your Arena Division and show how good you are. With these changes this should outta encourage people to actually play the arena more often.

  2. Change Score Attack into a Free choosing playlist.
    As you see its hard to choose the exact gametype and map you want to play in Score Attack a Single player playlist. Score Attcak should be changed by replacing the voting system of this playlist with a new score attack menu where you get choose a Score gametype you want to play, Choose the mpa you want play on. And choose the Difficulty for your game of Score Attack(Normal, Heroic, or Legendary). This will make a score attack a much easier playlist to enteract with and give players the score attack game they want to exactly play.

And thats the end of my top 5 ideas for the Halo Reach title update.

E. New Power-Up Settings
As you see the Gametype Power Slayer introduce us to kill traits where which power you can earn for killing someone will depend on how you killed that person, But for title update the power-up Kill traits should be accessed for every gametype teh Power-up Settings can let you access to Kill Traits, Melee kill Traits, Headshot kill Traits, Assasination kill Traits, the new one Grenade kill traits, The power-uop settings can also let you adjust the Overshield on how much shiled power teh Overshield can give 2X, 2.5X, 3X, 3.5X & 4X. And theres the Active Camo power-up setting wher you can adjust how long teh Camo power-up can last. And you can also adjust the Custom Power-up traits here and i think tehre should be two custom power-ups one Yellow & the other one Green. The Flaming Feet settings should be moved here to in the Power-up settings.

F. Fix Invasion Slayer/Skirmish Slayer settings
Inavsion/Skirmish Slayer needs to be fixed for one you should give us an option to actually change the weapon payouts the reinforcement territories give you whne you access the Reinforcement settings you can access Tier 1 or Tier 2 or tier 3 reforcement payouts settings And also the Reinforcement timer setting like how long does it atke to capture a terrtory and how long before the weapon show up(Or make it instant) You can also access an option which type of weapons the payouts give you theres Spieces Realted(Whcih means if spartans capture one they get huamn weapons and if elites capture one they get covernant weapons,) Cycle(Which means sthe payouts cycle between Human and Covernant weapon payouts Which is how Skirmish Slayer currently works), UNSC Weapons only, Covernant weapons only, & Random. And also an option to set weapon reinforcement appearence to Random, fair(So the losing team can easily get the next reinforcements, and Disabled so no weapon territories will appear at all. As for payout settings there are 3 payouts and you can set each payout on which weapon choices you can make for the weapon payouts is these.
*Grenade weapon(Grenade Launcher/Concsuuion Rifle) With extra greandes.
*Sniper weapon(Sniper Rifle/Focus Rifle)
*Close range weapon(Shotgun/Gravity hammer)
*Minor Power weapons(Grenade launcher & Shotgun/Concussion Rifle & Energy Sword)
*Rocket weapon(Rocket Launcher/Fuel Rod Gun) Both have only 1 spare clip.
*Charger weapon(Spartan laser/Plasma launcher)
*Close Sniper(Sniper Rifle & Shotgun/Focus Rifle & Energy Sword)
*Rocket Sniper(Rocket launcher & Sniper Rifle/Fuel rod gun & Focus Rifle)
*Charger Sniper(Spartan laser & Sniper Rifle/plasma launcher & Focus Rifle)
*Close Explosion(Rocket launcher & Shotgun/Plasma launcher & Gravity hammer)
*Heavy weapons(Rocket launcher & Spartan Laser/Plasma Launcher & Fuel Rod Gun)
*Explosive weapons(Rocket launcher & Greande Launcher/Plasma launcher & Concussion Rifle)

G. New Changes for the following gametypes below.

*Juggernaut should’nt only use the Gravity hammer we should be able to cahnge which weapon the juggernaut can use we can even set to unchanged so he’ll use current weapons, Also an option to turn Flaming Head/Feet ON/OFF for the Juggernaut would be nice.

*HeadHunter should have a few things fix like for one Add Color skulls of team games so for example if a Red Team member gets killed he’ll drop a Red Skull If a Blue team member gets killed he’ll drop a Blue skull and whenver he’s Carrying skulls he will drop number of regular skulls he’s carrying along iwth hsi own skull which is colored after his teamr, players cannot pick-up skulls taht has the same colour as thier team, Only enemy players can and once they picked up that skull it will become a Normal skull the next time they drop it. Also Headhunter should have an option like How many skulls the Player will drop like if you set it to 5 the player will drop 5 of his own skulls esspecailly when he has no skulls with him. And also add an option to adjust how many points the Skullmanjaro can give you.

*Assault should be givin the same treatment as CTF, It should have new gametypes like Assault Slayer, 3-Bomb Assault, And SpeedBomb where you carry the bomb on your back while you can still use Weapons and stuff. Also the Bomb should use the Covernant design during elite games & Spartan vs Elite games and elite teams bomb uses the covernant design this should also apply to invasion Bomb phase aswell.

*King of the Hill should have Slayer scoring so you can earn points for killing people as well, And there should be an option to score Hill points while the Hill is being Contested, And an Option to set how hills can appear at once like 1(By Default) 2, 3, 4, & 5.

*Oddball should also have Slayer Scoring so you so you can earn points for killing people as well, And there should be a SpeedBall option so you carry the Ball while still being able to use your weapons and Stuff, ANd there should be an Option to show us the Bomb timer in Hot potato so we can be more aware of when the bomb is gonna blow up.

*Race should give you more Vehicles to use like a Revenant & a Falcon. And also give the option to set laps to even numbers like 2, 4, 6, 8, & 10 if i’m not sure. And there should Team Race wher it plays like race except you have a partner to work with and the Vehicles you can choose are a Mongoose, Warthog, Rocket Hog, Gauss Hog, & Revenant.

H. Recap changes for Invasion.
Okay so far i suggest the following changes for Invasion from the other parts, Now even if invasion is a Red vs Blue/Spartan vs Elite game players should not have fixed colors but instead keep thier own default colors we can easily whos the enemy or not, So if we spartans we fight against Elites and if we’re Elites we fight teh spartans but you get the idea, I also suggested there should be an option to adjust how many players can we spawn with and let us know where the other players are even if we can’t spawn with them. But what i also like to see is an sepearate Assault phase options like how many seconds to arm the bomb and how many seconds for the bomb to explode once its armed.

I. Recap changes for Infection.
okay so far i suggested the following changes for Infection from the other parts like if you set the speices setting to Spartan VS Elite mode then Normal players will be Spartans and the Zombie Players will be Elites, And for tier laodouts instead of choosing Teir 1, 2, or 3 laodouts it should show Human Tier loadouts & Zombie Tier loadouts. But for here i suggest adding Haven Hill Scoring where players earn a point per second for staying in the Haven. And how about bringing back the option on which players will be zombies in the next round there’s Random(Default), Chump(The Player(s) that are losing), Winner(The player(s) that are winning). Also The Zomble Count should also let you choose how many Humans Should appear at STart like for example if you set it to 4 Humans, Only 4 players will start as Humans and all the other players will eb zombies.

J. Add some new Vehicle settings.
Listen about the Indestructable Vehicle setting The Vehicle seems to be only Indestrucable when someone use sit. SO How about adding an option where the Vehicle will be Indestructable when nobody is using it, And option where the Vehicle will be indestrucable when someone has’nt use it yet but once someone uses it its no longer indestructable, And and option where the Vehicle is always Indestructable whenever someone is using it or not. And how about adding a Vehicle Hi-jacking option so we can set if players can Hi-jack vehicles or not, And how about an option Where players cannot steal enemy vehicles/weapons, So for example in Forge if you set a Weapon/Vehicle to Red Team, Only Red team can use it, SO you You can set this setting to Disabled, Eneabled, or New Only(So players cannot steal Vehicles/weapons that have’nt been used yet by its team so once that Vehicle/weapon has been used and elther player exit it or got hi-jacked then the Vehicle/weapon can be used by anyone else. Also when it comes to Vehicles sets on maps update it so if Vehicles are set to ALL Covernant Missile/Gauss Warthogs should be changed into Revernants instead of Ghosts.

  1. Bloom needs to get a toggle switch. It makes the gameplay too random. (While you’re at that just remove it all together and give us the BR. Then beat whoever came up with the concept of it, to death with the butt-end of a DMR replica)

  2. Bleed over needs to be put back in which would fix the current melee system (Bleed over = You melee someone with a fraction of shield left. It breaks through the shield and starts effecting your -health-)

  3. Frags need the splash radius lowered slightly. I’m tired of dying around walls due to that and rockets. Plasma grenades need a tiny bit more splash radius. (Lower rockets splash radius as well)

  4. Armor lock is the only thing that cannot be effectively broken. I feel it should be able to be removed by an overcharged plasma pistol. When it is EMP’d like that it should be unusuable for a few seconds.

  5. Fix the way frags bounce of surfaces. Something more along the lines of halo 2 and 3

It’s also likely the fact that Halo 3 was too skill-based that drove off many people to go play CoD instead.

#5 is just no. Reach is by far the least competitive Halo game, and by far has the lowest population. A high skill gap is always good. If a correct ranking system is in place, then noobs will always play other noobs, so it doesn’t matter for them how skill intensive the game is.

  1. Update the Custom games with new settings and such.
    This is going to be a long list of stuff of what i want to see be added into this title update so heres a list of what custom games settings should be added…

A. New traits settings.

*Add Armor Ability Settings which should inculde Armor Ability Usage rate, Armor Ability Recharge rate and the Equipment Usage setting and starting Equipemnt should be moved from the weapoons settings to the Armor Ability settings.(NOTE: This should allow you to change how long Armor Abilitys can last and how long will it take to recharge so if you want to nerf Armor lock change the usage settings so armor lock will be less used.)

*Add Grenade settings like Starting frag Greandes, Starting plasma Greandes, Frag Grenbade stock limit, Plasma Grenade stock limit, Frag grenade Regeneration, Plasma Grenade Regernation, Grenade Pick-up, & Greande Damage modifier.(NOTE: You guys need to bring back the Greande Regernation setting from Halo 3, And give us an option to set how many greabndes we carry up too even though we can start with 4 grenades we can’t restock up to 4 grenades, which is why the grenade stock limit option should be added.)

*Add turrent Settings and inculde Turrent usage, Starting Turrent(So we can spawn with a Turrent in our hands in the start and it can be a Machine Gun Turrent or a Plasma Gun Turrent,)Infinte Turrent ammo (So we can have infinte ammo for the turrent even when its detacted,) Turrent Movement(Its on by default but when its off we can like normal when we hold a turrent.).

*Add a Bottomless Cup setting instead of just being apart fo the infinte ammo setting so that way with Bottomless Cup as a seperate setting we can use it so we don’t have to reload even if we have limited ammo, If we want Infinte ammo with no reload we turn both Bottomless cup and infinte ammo on.

*Add Uber Camo setting for the Active camo settings. And give us an option set our Overshield to 2.5 & 3.5. And maybe add a Melee Bleed through setting if you can.*And finnaly if you can add Vehicle traits, Gunner traits, & Hi-Jacker traits to Rocket Race then these options should also appear for all of the gametypes.

B. Add Loadout Traits and other loadout stuff.
The loadouts should ahve traits settings so that each laodout can have different Traits thsi can be useful for a gametype i thought up where each laodout gives you special traits like one can give you extra damage, and another loadout can give you an Overshield, It can also be useful for normal gametypes where each Armor ability has been adjusted because you adjusted the amro ability usgae/recharge rta esettings so teh most powerful/overused amro abilitys can be overused/overpowered, When selecting a laodout it already shows teh traits settings and if you wnat to choose a weapon go to the weapon settings and if you want to adjust how many greandes this laodout can give you go to the greande settings and if you want to choose an armor ability for this loadout you go to the armor ability settings. The loadout traits also should show you the options to hide thsi laodout or not and change the name of this loadout but i think we shouldk have the ability to make our own names for the loadouts. And also the this laodout settings should never be shown in most gametypes(Only Invasion Skirmish slayer can have those settings) besides they provide no point whats so ever with a minor exception for Infection since Tire 1 is for Human loadouts and Tier 2 is for the Zombie laodouts But for infection it should replace the the tier loadouts selection with a Human Tier & Zombie Tier loadouts selection.NOTE: The new options i’ve stated from A & B of this part should also apply for Firefight games.

C. New Speices Settings.
The general Settings should have a Speices Option like you can to Spartans Only, Elites Only, Perfered Speices(Which mean you can be a Spartan or an Elite if you want depending on what your perfered speices is set to) And then theres the Sparatns Verses Elites Setting where the game has two teams The green Spartans Team and the Purple Elites team it will allow you to play a game of sparatans verses Elites without the Invasion stuff it acn work on any team related gametype even on Infection where if its on the normal players with be Spartans and the Zombie players will be Elites. If the game of Sprtans versus Elites is round based then it will be a game of red vs Blue, The Red Team will be SPartans at Start while the Blue Team will be Elites at start and when the next round beings the teams willl swap speicesand as for attack/defence gametypes the speices taht will be the attacking team will depend on the Attacking team Setting in the gametype options. However evn if the SPartan & Elites are color coded(Red vs Blue or Green vs purple & What not) they will not have fixed colors on thier player models during the game instead players will have thier default colors, and the only difference we can tell whos our ally and enemy will depend on which speices your on fi your a SPartan then teh spartans are your allies and the Elites are your enemy, the same can be said for Elites, Afetr all in Firefight versus we get to keep our default colors even if we are on the Red or Blue team.

D. New Slayer Settings.
If Capture the Flag can have slayer scroing then so can Assault, King of the Hill, Oddball, & maybe Stockpile. Also FFA Slayer should ahve new ways to score bonus points like Assist Bonus, Revenge Bonus, & greande kill Bonus In my view i wanted to make a SLayer gametype where you score 10 points for a kill & 5 Points for getting an Assist. Moving on, Slayer options menu should inculde Bro SLayer option which by Default is set to disabled but you can turn it on by setting a number to it, The number indicatings how many players can you bro-spawn with, And in Bro-Slayer it should also let you know where the other players even if your not Bro spawn partners with them, This updated Bro Option should apply to Invasion & Skirmish Slayer. There should also be a new Slayer gametype called Vehicle Slayer Where its like Rally/Rocket Race but instead of getting to goals you kill other players using your Vehicle though only use one selected Vehicle to kill each other, theres a setting where which vehicle does you and other players have to use, Options inculde Ghosts(1), Mongooses(2), Warthogs(2-3)(Chaingun, Missile or Gauss Turret.), Ghosts(1), Revernants(1-2), Banchees(1)(With or Without Fuel Rod Cannons), Turret Falcons(2-3), AutoCannon Falcons(1-3), Falcons With AutoCannonss & Grenade launcher Turrets(2-3), And Wraiths(1-2). The numbers i type out is for the seat options for team games it should set how players per vehicle should in one per vehicle 1, 2 or 3, Each vehiclke i mention has numbers that indicate how many palyers can be suitable for this vehicle.

E. New Power-Up Settings
As you see the Gametype Power Slayer introduce us to kill traits where which power you can earn for killing someone will depend on how you killed that person, But for title update the power-up Kill traits should be accessed for every gametype teh Power-up Settings can let you access to Kill Traits, Melee kill Traits, Headshot kill Traits, Assasination kill Traits, the new one Grenade kill traits, The power-uop settings can also let you adjust the Overshield on how much shiled power teh Overshield can give 2X, 2.5X, 3X, 3.5X & 4X. And theres the Active Camo power-up setting wher you can adjust how long teh Camo power-up can last. And you can also adjust the Custom Power-up traits here and i think tehre should be two custom power-ups one Yellow & the other one Green. The Flaming Feet settings should be moved here to in the Power-up settings.

F. Fix Invasion Slayer/Skirmish Slayer settings
Inavsion/Skirmish Slayer needs to be fixed for one you should give us an option to actually change the weapon payouts the reinforcement territories give you whne you access the Reinforcement settings you can access Tier 1 or Tier 2 or tier 3 reforcement payouts settings And also the Reinforcement timer setting like how long does it atke to capture a terrtory and how long before the weapon show up(Or make it instant) You can also access an option which type of weapons the payouts give you theres Spieces Realted(Whcih means if spartans capture one they get huamn weapons and if elites capture one they get covernant weapons,) Cycle(Which means sthe payouts cycle between Human and Covernant weapon payouts Which is how Skirmish Slayer currently works), UNSC Weapons only, Covernant weapons only, & Random. And also an option to set weapon reinforcement appearence to Random, fair(So the losing team can easily get the next reinforcements, and Disabled so no weapon territories will appear at all. As for payout settings there are 3 payouts and you can set each payout on which weapon choices you can make for the weapon payouts is these.
*Grenade weapon(Grenade Launcher/Concsuuion Rifle) With extra greandes.
*Sniper weapon(Sniper Rifle/Focus Rifle)
*Close range weapon(Shotgun/Gravity hammer)
*Minor Power weapons(Grenade launcher & Shotgun/Concussion Rifle & Energy Sword)
*Rocket weapon(Rocket Launcher/Fuel Rod Gun) Both have only 1 spare clip.
*Charger weapon(Spartan laser/Plasma launcher)
*Close Sniper(Sniper Rifle & Shotgun/Focus Rifle & Energy Sword)
*Rocket Sniper(Rocket launcher & Sniper Rifle/Fuel rod gun & Focus Rifle)
*Charger Sniper(Spartan laser & Sniper Rifle/plasma launcher & Focus Rifle)
*Close Explosion(Rocket launcher & Shotgun/Plasma launcher & Gravity hammer)
*Heavy weapons(Rocket launcher & Spartan Laser/Plasma Launcher & Fuel Rod Gun)
*Explosive weapons(Rocket launcher & Greande Launcher/Plasma launcher & Concussion Rifle)

G. New Changes for the following gametypes below.

*Juggernaut should’nt only use the Gravity hammer we should be able to cahnge which weapon the juggernaut can use we can even set to unchanged so he’ll use current weapons, Also an option to turn Flaming Head/Feet ON/OFF for the Juggernaut would be nice.

*HeadHunter should have a few things fix like for one Add Color skulls of team games so for example if a Red Team member gets killed he’ll drop a Red Skull If a Blue team member gets killed he’ll drop a Blue skull and whenver he’s Carrying skulls he will drop number of regular skulls he’s carrying along iwth hsi own skull which is colored after his teamr, players cannot pick-up skulls taht has the same colour as thier team, Only enemy players can and once they picked up that skull it will become a Normal skull the next time they drop it. Also Headhunter should have an option like How many skulls the Player will drop like if you set it to 5 the player will drop 5 of his own skulls esspecailly when he has no skulls with him. And also add an option to adjust how many points the Skullmanjaro can give you.

*Assault should be givin the same treatment as CTF, It should have new gametypes like Assault Slayer, 3-Bomb Assault, And SpeedBomb where you carry the bomb on your back while you can still use Weapons and stuff. Also the Bomb should use the Covernant design during elite games & Spartan vs Elite games and elite teams bomb uses the covernant design this should also apply to invasion Bomb phase aswell.

*King of the Hill should have Slayer scoring so you can earn points for killing people as well, And there should be an option to score Hill points while the Hill is being Contested, And an Option to set how hills can appear at once like 1(By Default) 2, 3, 4, & 5.

*Oddball should also have Slayer Scoring so you so you can earn points for killing people as well, And there should be a SpeedBall option so you carry the Ball while still being able to use your weapons and Stuff, ANd there should be an Option to show us the Bomb timer in Hot potato so we can be more aware of when the bomb is gonna blow up.

*Race should give you more Vehicles to use like a Revenant & a Falcon. And also give the option to set laps to even numbers like 2, 4, 6, 8, & 10 if i’m not sure. And there should Team Race wher it plays like race except you have a partner to work with and the Vehicles you can choose are a Mongoose, Warthog, Rocket Hog, Gauss Hog, & Revenant.

H. Recap changes for Invasion.
Okay so far i suggest the following changes for Invasion from the other parts, Now even if invasion is a Red vs Blue/Spartan vs Elite game players should not have fixed colors but instead keep thier own default colors we can easily whos the enemy or not, So if we spartans we fight against Elites and if we’re Elites we fight teh spartans but you get the idea, I also suggested there should be an option to adjust how many players can we spawn with and let us know where the other players are even if we can’t spawn with them. But what i also like to see is an sepearate Assault phase options like how many seconds to arm the bomb and how many seconds for the bomb to explode once its armed.

I. Recap changes for Infection.
okay so far i suggested the following changes for Infection from the other parts like if you set the speices setting to Spartan VS Elite mode then Normal players will be Spartans and the Zombie Players will be Elites, And for tier laodouts instead of choosing Teir 1, 2, or 3 laodouts it should show Human Tier loadouts & Zombie Tier loadouts. But for here i suggest adding Haven Hill Scoring where players earn a point per second for staying in the Haven. And how about bringing back the option on which players will be zombies in the next round there’s Random(Default), Chump(The Player(s) that are losing), Winner(The player(s) that are winning). Also The Zomble Count should also let you choose how many Humans Should appear at STart like for example if you set it to 4 Humans, Only 4 players will start as Humans and all the other players will be zombies.

J. Add some new Vehicle settings.
Listen about the Indestructable Vehicle setting The Vehicle seems to be only Indestrucable when someone use sit. K. Weapon Settings
There should be options to change how the weapons work. Here’s the following settings.
*BETA DMR: Works exactly like it was in the Beta,
*Classic Magnum: Works like it was in Halo CE where it has more range, does more damage, but has reduced firing rate.
*Classic Sniper Rifle: The Sniper Rifle will work like it was back in halo 2/3 where it was harder to us and cannot wreak vehicles.
*Plasma repeater Setting: Normal(Default), BETA(Works like it was in the Beta), & Faster(Where the Plasma Repeater will fire really fast as if like Bottomless Cup was on except it would still slow down after a while.
*Classic Assault Rifle: Works like it was in halo CE where the Assault Rifle has 60 Bullets per clip and does slightly more damage.
*BETA Focus Rifle: This weapon will be just as deadly as it was in the BETA.
*BETA Plasma Launcher: The Plasma Launcher will work exactly like it was in the Beta.
*Homing Rocket launcher: With this on the Rocket Launcher will lock onto targets faster and can lock onto anything, Flying Vehicles, land Vehicles, and even on Enemy players.
*Classic Energy Sword: The Energy Sword will work like it was in Halo 2/3 wher you can swing your sword faster and enemy players cannot block your sword attacks unless they use thier own energy sword.
*Classic Shotgun: The SHotgun will like it was in Halo 1/2 will it can carry up to 12 shells per clip and has slightly more spread/damage then the shotgun of this game.
*Stronger Needle Rifle: If on the Needle rifle will have more range, more gerious bloom and can wreak vehicles just like the DMR.
And thats it.
*Bloom: If its possible and since plenty of people asked for it. Can we have an option to turn the Bloom on/off for Bloom styled weapons.

L. Adjust the Betrayal/Booting settings.
Betrayals is a probelm here in the Multiplayer Halo Universe, And it must be stopped. For one even if your bad teamates should’nt annoy you by killing you they would still try to annoy you by shooting at you and then they stop for a while to prevent themselves from killing you so you can boot them, My suggestion is that a damage boot like once that person has inflicted a certain amout of damage against you a note will appear giving you the option to boot the person via the pause menu. Also if you were riding a falcon with two of your teammates and you and them get destroyed it at the same time it should’nt count as a betrayal like one time i got booted because i was piloting a Falcon with two teammates using my turrets and all of the sudden we got blowned up and it said i betrayed them even though i did’nt it was an enemy that killed us and one of the teammates recklessly booted me seriously this should never happen. And even if Friendly fire is disabled we can harm teammates using the power of Vehicles, Like we can still destroy Vehicles even if its just our teammates using it, And players can still splatter thier teammates with thier vehicles You must fix this so players cannot harm others using Vehuicles even if Friendly fire is on. Also AFK players must be stopped like there hsould be an option where you must select a loadout you can start playing and if you don’t choose a loadout under a certain amout of time(like 30 secs for example) YOu will get booted off the game.

*Settings K & L should also apply to Firefight games.

M. Update the default/bulid-in/fixed gametypes with updated settings.
The Default gametypes need to be updated with new/updated settings, rules, etc, Here is some examples.
*The Classic slayer gametype is replaced with Sprint Slayer, Like Cl;assic Slayer but with a more fitting name. Power Slayer, Bro Slayer, & Vehicle Slayer are now Default gametypes.
*The current default CTF gametypes should be updated to inculde new rules, have flag at home turned off by dault, let you know what happens to your flag, etc. CTF SLayer, 3-flag, 2-flag Classic, & Speedflag are now Default gametypes.
*Skirmish Slayer(With the news i mentioned) should be added as a Default gametype for Invasion.
*Default Assault gametypes should also be updated with new rules/settings, And should now inculde, 3-Bomb, Assault Slayer, Speedbomb, & Griffball as default gametypes.
*BTW the Default maps should also be replaced with updated versions aswell.
And those just the examples i’m sure you’ll get the idea for the rest.

Did I say that Reach’s was better? Of course not. What I am saying though is that Halo 3 did not have that correct system. Well, to be far, it did for half of the game aka the Ranked playlist. The Social playlist, which is mainly the casuals’ playground if I’m correct, on the other hand didn’t seem to have that system. For the most part it was essentially the same deal as Reach is currently. Completely random-skilled players being thrown in a game and allowing much higher skilled competitive people to have a chance to fight and destroy lower skilled players. At least, that’s what I experienced. In my opinion, the Social playlist should keep the ranking system somewhat. Though it would be invisible (but actually work unlike Reach’s own invisible ranking), thus making it feel more relaxed while still ensuring you get fun games.

  1. Get rid of the idea that bungie had in their heads that a friggin DMR could destroy vehicles. I kind of support the sniper rifle, but they need to make it more shots for a sniper rifle to destroy a vehicle therefore making the argument to the person of destroying the vehicle for the good of the team, or sniping for personal kills.

  2. Just dispose of AL all together, its a nuisance (spelling?), other than sprint and evade, all other AA’s should be a pickup, also get rid of Active Camo and bring back the powerup, take away sword lunge with sprint and evade.

  3. Tweak the banshee to not be so flimsy, but nerf it so it doesnt get kills too easily (bringing balance).

  4. New melee system, H3 for example.

  5. Buff assault rifle, make it so you can’t shoot a DMR or Pistol until the reticle is all the way back to original size (gets rid of spamming), make the shotgun a little shorter range, give the Spartan Laser a further zoom, and if at all possible, i would love a weapon update where they add a covenant version of the shotgun, and keep the focus rifle, but also bring back the beam rifle.

My 5 would be: 1. Nerf the AR 2. AL only in Invasion and BTB 3. Spamming will lose to a more skilled player every time.
I actually can’t think of two more atm.

2: Tweak armor lock. It needs to be able to skilfully stop power weapons and grenades, and barely affect you in a regular fight

3: Vehicle damage (recieved) should be altered

4: Infection needs to have 100% community maps

5: add “has DLC” to search restrictions (so I can regularly get DLC in my regular playlists!)

1: MAKE YOUR ARENA RANK SHOW UP NEXT TO REGULAR RANK IN ALL PLAYLISTS! ARENA POPULATION PROBLEMS WILL BE SOLVED! ITS A GREAT SYSTEM! (The divisions and percentiles that is) BUT JUST NEEDS POPULARITY!!! PLEASE 343!!!

Thank you 343 for taking time to listen to halo fans. Its greatly Appreaciated even tho you dont have to. THeres alot In my opinion that you guys could probably do for reach but If I can only select 5 I will do so and contribute my 2 Cents

Anyway here we Go

1. Fix Certain Armour abilities. In particular Nerf Armour Lock (remove EMP, increase recharge time and make it Single Use per charge), Reduce evade to 1 roll and Make Camo a power up again.

2. Increase movement Speed, Jump height and Damage by 10%. I dont expect Master chief style speeds and we do have to account for armour abilities but the game really needs to speed up. The flow of the game really needs to be improve and doing this Would allow the game to do that while Still staying canon to reach and not afffecting map design.

3. Fix Forgeworlds Lag and open up some of the killzone areas: I’m not expecting additional piece’s like somepeople are tho adding powerhouse’s would be nice. All I want is a few new areas to forge in while being allowed to forge what I want without being constrained by Lag. You could satisfy alot of people if you did this

4. Fix up the Living Dead Bulltrue glitch and Allow us to boot Betrayers again. This 1 should be self explanatory. I’m sick of finally getting myself a decent camping spot or I’ve Cornered a human only to be betrayed for it.

5. Return 1-50 ranking system and seperate the casual and competive lists. This was by no means perfect but we need a reason to compete and an adaquate ranking system as a true measure of someone skill.
