Your "Top 5" for the Title Update

  1. Toggle bloom on and off
  2. Special weapon traits available in options (like sniper does 110% damage and DMR does 90%) - random example- so that all weapon damages arent the same etc
  3. No aim acceleration (aim acceleration = when you look around the aimer goes slow at first and then the more you hold down the joystick it goes faster- in h3 in reach it is there barely noticable but not in h2)
  4. Ability to choose colors of objects in forge mode, and have advanced color settings to paint etc.
  5. Bring back party theater mode so more than 1 person can watch a film at a time

I have been a halo player since Halo CE. I have a couple of points to make. I hope they won’t be taken a drift in the plethora of complaints.

I think bloom should have the ability to be toggled on or off. This is strictly for MLG purposes.

I think some of the (armor abilities) should be re-considered in their strength and potency. (Take that as you may).

For a the new halo franchise:

I think you should understand the expectations of the casual gamer but also acknowledge the expectations of the competitive.

The above expectations can be fulfilled if multiple play lists with far ranging toggle-able options are implemented.

I think halo is the most versatile and accepting title when it comes to understanding the needs of its consumers.

If you intend on keeping this title and not being surpassed, you must endeavor to pioneer new avenues in which Bungie (or 343) will prosper.

You have the ability of hopper/play list variability. Why not make a fruit to satisfy every palette? If Bungie won’t, another game will. That is the next generation. It will satisfy all gamers. I think Bungie should lead the charge and show how it is supposed to be done (or 343). In any case, the winner of the future FPS gaming public (for counsel) will win with this unbeatable variability. It will customize to what ever the gamer wants to experience. I hope the Halo franchise is there to usher in a new era of variable game play that suites all players.

P.S. I love the MLG variety of game times. Keep those :]

I want to be able to toggle bloom on and off. Just make the bullets always go straight please.

Oh and a toggle for bleed through damage is needed or just make it so that bullets go through shields, thanks.

So as you see 343, it seems that 95% of the community has almost the exact same 5, so please stress it. If you make these changes, the community will literally fall in love with this game.

  1. Remove or add the option to remove BLOOM on the DMR, or switch back to the Battle Rifle.

  2. Revert to prior Halo 2, beginning Halo 3 melee system. Where skill determined if you lived, or died.

  3. HALO 2 RANKING SYSTEM, this system insures that people have the best possible matches, and the visuals made you want to FIGHT for your rank! (Current military-style ranks aren’t nearly as pride-driven)

  4. TEAMS linked with Gamebattles and MLG in-game. Exactly the same setup as the “CLAN” feature in Halo 2, except only consisting of max 6 players. To add to this: Having a Gamebattles or a separate MLG ranked playlist, using only people in your team. This would literally be the next level of “online competition” Using a 3 game series with the same team, tournament-style.

  5. Fix theater to a max of 4 viewers (so that they can watch their previous game together obviously), and add first-person viewing for all players, not just the “Author” of the footage.

I know this is basically a 6th, but one of the most annoying things in-game are the ability to be KILLED from a bullet AFTER the opponent has died.

1.Remove or give us ability to turn off bloom
2.Melee bleedthrough
3.1-50 on playlists please
4.Nerf Nades and rockets please way to overpowered
5.Make Reach into the game it should have been i feel we can all agree on this one

  1. VIP brought back.
  2. More Juggernaut.
  3. Delay on throwing grenades.
  4. Loss use of sprint when shield is knocked off.
  5. Infections maps built for the gametype/playlist. (Ex: Close Quarters, mazes, mansions)

1: Fix the zooming in lag problem that occurs when zooming in on forge world

2: Armor lock when used it either shouldnt recharge your sheilds or it shouldnt last as long or both

3: i think spamming the DMR/NR should be punished a little bit more, people complain about the DMR not punishing people enogh that they forget you can hold in the trigger and still get a kill!!

4: The melee system need bleed threw, if you shoot a guy and get his shields down to barely any shield there it should not take 2 beat downs to kill him

5: The ranking system needs a complete over haul, the rating system is fine in theory for cutting down on derankers but it doesnt give me something to come back to cuz i know eventually all my hard work for that season will be wiped clean in so many days, its kinda blah i miss trying to get a 50 lol

also i miss getting like 30 assists a game so if you could bring that ability back and not this guessing about getting an assist

4.) Bring back the Chopper
5.) Bring back the Hornet

  1. Bloom toggle on or off.
  2. Bleed through melee’s.
  3. Halo 3 style ranks. I know it wasnt perfect but it was atleast better than the whole arena -Yoink-.
  4. No “kickback” on melee’s.

Cant really think of a 5th. Emphasis on Bloom.

My Top 3

  1. Add a custom game option to remove bloom for all or individual weapons.

  2. Nerf armor lock so it has a shorter fuse or add custom game options to edit the stats for individual AA’s.

  3. Create a better ranking system for either most playlist’s or at least add one for MLG preferably based on halo 2’s ranking system.

That’s all I ask for.

oh and also if armor lock gets hit by a plasma pistol it shoild kick them out or something

Add the ability to toggle bloom on/off in custom games, fix grenade damage/timer/radius/bounce physics, add bleed through for melees and adjust so that combatants aren’t forced 10 meters backwards immediately following a melee, add individual weapon modifiers, fix theater if at all possible, add maps.

  1. NO BLOOM (PLEASE OH GOD PLEASE)
  2. Bleed through-health system

Fix Theater! seriously. up to four people in halo 3 and only one person in reach?

  1. GET RID OF BLOOM.
  2. BLEED THROUGH TOGGLE.
  3. Nerf Armor Lock.
  4. Make nades bounce.
  5. Forge world not grey world.
  1. SvE Slayer game types not forcing team colors (I.E.: Use your own Spartan / Elite colors)

  3. Make it so any Invasion game type doesn’t force team colors.

  4. Armor Lock nerfed.

  5. Fix bloom on precision weapons to truly punish spammers at all but close range.

Ranking system 1-50

4 person theater

1.) Toggle Bloom custom option.
2.) Fixed MM system (i.e. no more Team of 4 vs. 4 random players).
3.) Individual damage multipliers for weapons.
4.) Improved assist system.
5.) I don’t care what you do at this point if even one of the above are fixed.

  1. Bloom: I don’t think it needs to be removed but tweeked and/or lessened.

  2. Vehicles: Heavy vehicles shouldn’t be affected by small arms, and snipers should only truly work on the canopy or the weak point on the back. Also, since vehicles health isn’t correlate to the driver’s health, there should be a vehicle health bar…or make it correlated to the driver’s health. There should also be a status bar of your passengers to better know when they are in danger. The Warthog should also control more like its predecessors, being quick and nimble, the Reach version feels sluggish and seems to have a high chance of rolling over when it turns.

  3. Armor Abilities:

  • Sprint: I think it should last longer. I mean you are suppose to be a Spartan, you should be able to nearly run forever.
  • Armor Lock: I think the armor lock should instantly activate like in the beta. However, it should only last 1 or 2 seconds so you don’t get the moments of a group of people around the armor lock guy like campers around a camp fire.
  • Invisibility: I don’t think the radar jammer is unnecessary, or at least shouldn’t put you at the center of the jamming.
