1.) Fix bloom (preferably remove it). Also while on the same topic, improve kill times and give all guns a fixed rate of fire.
2.) remove no bleed through
3.) nerf armor abilities. remove armor lock and camo. make jet pack fuel run out faster
4.) increase base movement speed
5.) fix ranking system. make it more visible. honestly who here cares about how many daily challenges someone completed. why not use that space to show useful or interesting stats. can show rank, k/d ratio, top commendations.
things not requiring a title update i would like to see fixed:
bring back flag, ball, objective juggling. i honestly cannot stand playing objectives anymore. objectives should also always be dmr starts
allow us to choose different color for forge pieces (i mean let me color the full block yellow, blue, red,… the gray is just plain and boring)
FIX ASSISTS - I have never had a problem with assists in H2 and H3, and for some reason Bungie decided to tweak it a bit. I want credit for ANY amount of work I’ve done on an opponent, not just half or more of kill.
Modify the way Bloom functions: Bloom was a great concept but suffered from poor execution. Bloom should reward pacing and punish spamming. Make the initial bloom very large, but add a very fast reset, so that quicker, spammed shots will be less accurate, but the bloom doesn’t lengthen kill times. Failing that, add a Bloom On/Off toggle custom option.
Increase movement speeds and kill times, but fix grenades (longer fuse time?).
Four party theater!!! Really WHY was this taken out??
Modify the behaviors of certain armor abilities: Decrease length of armor lock duration, and maybe force players to stay in armor lock for the whole duration (no quick, glitchy flashes). Make jetpacks a shorter duration, ‘double jump’ like function. Instead of allowing players to soar over the map or float annoyingly, it will instead allow for clever map movement and route taking.
Fix bleed-through damage: As in, allow melees to punch through shields. There is no reason why a player who has three shots in an enemy and then trades melees with him should be on a level playing field if all that player did was sprint up and punch. This deadens gameplay into mindless sprint-melee-shoot fests at close range. Emulate the melee system where a standing melee is weaker than a running melee, which in turn is weaker than a jumping/falling melee.
i would like to be able to turn bloom on or off in customs and a run speed between 110(still to slow) and 120(feels like ice skating) 11 should work
i would like a 1 to 50 ranking system.if boosting becomes a problem reset the ranks every 3 to 4 months or something like arena.
if no ranking system is implemented(1 to 50 ) i would like the current arena ranking to be placed in the mlg playlist so kids new to mlg can play kids at their skill level.i hate going into the mlg playlist by myself and getting match up against a team of 4 when everyone on my team is searching alone.

I want to see an option to toggle the bloom. I see no harm in letting us choose whether or not we want bloom or not in a weapon.
I’d also like to see camo changed back to how it was in H3.
Also change the melee system back to H3. Get rid of the no bleed through system. I find it stupid that someone can shoot you 3 times with a dmr and you still have an equal chance at killing them by just sprinting and double meleeing. Please make it so that melees bleed through to health.
That’s all I can think of. If those things are fixed I’d be in love with 343 forever.
