These are great. We need no bloom and kill times shortened to be like CE/H2 of 1-1.5 seconds, not 2+ seconds as it currently is in Reach. I also agree with the rest too.
1. Armour Lock.
Just remove it. It gives people a get out of jail free-card whenever they want, and transforms what is a relatively fast-paced game into a series of pauses while you stand around looking at a stationary Spartan.
2. Plasma repeater/rifle
Please make them not suck. Thanks.
3. Loadout changes
DMR+Sprint vs. AR+ any other ability. I don’t even have a choice because without the DMR (against people who do have it) I’m just going to get destroyed.
4. Beatdown cooldown
Should be almost twice as long. Right now Sprint+Double Beatdownb it’s arguably the most effective tactic in the whole game.
5. Movement Speed
Way to slow. Again, I feel like I’m forced to use Sprint otherwise its just going to take me forever to get anywhere.
Bring back bleed through.
NO BLOOM! (it doesn’t have to be mandatory for every playlist but at least make it an option)
Other balancing tweaks would be great but those two are the most important.

I want vehicle’s to be tougher. In my opinion sniper rifles should NEVER destroy a tank or any other vehicle larger than a mongoose.

Vehicle physics need to be be heavier. For a heavily armored jeep, the Warthog bounces around like it’s made of rubber and happy thoughts. It’s irritating to get flipped and pushed along the ground by bullets or just flip over when nudging a small rock.

I noticed a lot of people don’t like armor lock, so here’s my balance suggestion. Leave it like it is, but players can only click it once per recharge. There won’t be any multi-tapping, so it’s essentially a one time “get out of jail free” card. I don’t mind it blocking stuff (I hate grenade spam more than anything so I find armor lock useful) but it shouldn’t be able to be tapped repeatedly to win a melee fight.

Movement speed is waaaaay tooooo slllloooooowwwwwwwwwww. I understand why Bungie never recommended players trying to run across Forge World. You’d die of old age before you got halfway at the current speed. Bring it back up more. Not a lot, we don’t need to by flying across the map, but I’d like to feel as though I’m going faster than a speed walk.

But seriously, good call. The only reason they knocked down movement speed was for stupid AA’s and sprint. Big mistake, I no longer feel like im playing a Halo game other than my Mark VI helmet. haha
- Fix bloom on the DMR so that it actually works, spamming shouldn’t win period.
- Nerf armor lock’s offensive capabilities.
- Bleed through melee system.
- Increased jump height in multiplayer (screw canon, its MM anyways).
- Nerf frags, either fuse time or damage. Stickies are fine imo, covy tech should be better anyways.
My 5 changes would be:

Give us the freedom to get rid of fall damage and bloom, as well as the ability to strengthen each weapon individually, changing blast radius of rockets and grenades, etc. It would be the ultimate tweaking.

Change the hitboxes, especially around the head. Getting headshots is easy.

Spamming with bloom should not be effective at all. I’ve been 5 shotted in less then a second by numerous players spamming with the DMR across the map. Make sure the bullets do fly to the sides of the bloom, away from the opponent. Luck =/= skill. Skill should be more important than being noob friendly, which this game is at the moment.

The ability to watch clips/gameplays with more than one person in theater, like we could in Halo 3. Watching those with four people was enough, adding more would be good too.

Grenade bounces are unrealistic. They always roll towards the opponent so again, noob friendly. There are enough games where your opponents spawn and chuck ± 8 grenades at you, blasting you to hell and leaving you raging at the television. Just make it so it bounces in a realistic way (if you throw it into a wall infront of you in should bounce back in your face, instead of actually changing it’s direction more towards an enemy).
- Armour Abilities as pick-ups, it will bring back the balance of Halo 3’s equipment but it will be allot ore interesting giving AA’s are more interesting than equipment. Increase movement speed and/or have everyone start with sprint or nothing at all. Have AA’s like evade & armour lock be big things to have on the maps.
- I hate to be one of the many who complain about DMR bloom, but it should be more rewarding, so if I’m pacing against someone who is spamming, I should almost always win from mid-long range. (Magnum & Needle Rifle Bloom is fine). Also 75% melee across the board to give more incentive to shoot and reduce double pummelling.
- More map variants similar to Halo 3, where there would be a few versions of each map. As well as more definitive playlists, E.g. An Elite playlist, a Race playlist etc. And more variety of gamemodes, (E,g, VIP) and more objectives in Invasion (Possibly have the objectives randomised so you could play the same map but hae a different experience.) Also the return of Double XP weekends.
- More Arena gametypes, a clear divide between Competitive/Ranked & Social, so players enter their game with the right mindset. As well as there being a ‘skill’ system. However in the social playlists have it suit the casual and competitive gamer.
- Vehicles - Banshee bomb toned down please, have it so small arm fire doesn’t damage the driver as much if at all. Someone in a vehicle should only be damaged if the bullet hits them, not the vehicle.

- 1-50 ranking system (Where numbered parties match with other numbered parties.)
- Bloom needs to be taken out and the dmr made so it can not spam.
- Melee bleed through (Should be able to beat down people twice to kill them and if they are weak they should die and not just go to no shields.)
- Nades and rockets need to be weakened.
- Sniper needs to be harder to use.
One more thing; head shots should cause more shield damage than body shots!
- Take out AL all together .

Lower Nade damage a bit it gets really old spamming grenades . ( use to be a reason i played Halo over COD but now its turning into COD )

- Bloom I like but needs tweaking or removal.
- AAs: Remove all offensive capabilities for armor lock, other than vehicle destruction. Also add a 5 second cooldown to it. For camo, either bring back the powerup and remove it as an AA, or tweak the AA so the radar jam is no longer present for the enemy.
- Bring back the powerups, both overshield and camo. Use them liberally, every MM map should feature at least one somewhere. Make sure the standard overshield is a double, so it’s actually worth pushing for.
- Arena overhaul. Some kind of respectable rank like a # with slayer and doubles. I enjoy my black hexagon but the # was better.
- Armor lock nerf.
- Bloom needs to be more punishing for spammers.
- Grenade fuse time slightly increased.
- Vehicles need to be a little more durable from small arms fire.
- Nerf Banshee maneuverability.
My Top 5.
1. Do something about the random bloom you can loose a DMR battle while pacing because the other person is spamming. Either remove it or make it so that if you spam the bloom makes it pretty much impossible to get a kill.
2. Add ranked playlists with a 1-50 ranking system. So that the good players are truly separated. Sick of winning easily against people who its there first game then next game getting slapped by MLG Pro’s.
3. Sort out the melee system make it bleed through like Halo 3.
4. Allow us to watch theatre with our friends like Halo 3.
5. Weaken grenades power.
