I’m happy there changing things up, but the fact that jetpack is coming back i don’t like.
oh and instant respawns, that sounds terrible.
I hope the loadouts are pick a starting rifle (carbine/br/ar) and a side arm. (pistol/plasma pistol)
I don’t like the sounds of jet pack returning or the drop pods thing, but if there is an option to turn it on and off, it would be okay.
I’m glad the DMR is coming back, variety is never a bad thing. Due to the presence of customisable loadouts, I think (THINK) that the DMR is a starting weapon, then once you progress, you have the option to change to a Battle Rifle. That would be sweet.
From the images I’ve seen, it looks like the core gameplay of Halo will at least be there, where spartans have shields with which to eat a decent amount of bullets, spartans can jump high, and you melee with your fist or the butt of your rifle. I’ll just wait and see how this plays out in the next month or so.

Unlikely, In a article on IGN they confirmed the Covenant Carbine but at the end of the sentence where they announced the Carbine they said " Assault Carbine " which to me sounds like a human weapon rather than a covenant one. My thoughts are the DMR is returning, but that wouldn’t make any sense for the DMR AND the Battle Rifle to be in the same game?
I think everything just needs to be implemented right like
