Pretty much. My console was on the verge of dying anyway. I needed a new console and figured it’d be pretty sweet to have a Halo console.
As for the FOTUS. The helmet is usually my primary choice when I’m not making Halo 4 content because of my Gamertag.

I laugh. It just goes to show you how easily people can be manipulated into thinking something is cool just because it’s rare. You couldn’t pay me to wear that dumb looking unicorn helmet.
I got the consol for my fiancé because we needed another Xbox for the downstairs tv…it looked cool and matched…the only time I ever use that armor is if my boys come over…we always make someone the pink unicorn spartan for lulz.

The body armor is pretty cool. I once heard someone say that the helmet has a [insert joke here] attached to it and I have never been able to take it seriously since. (I’m doing my best to keep it clean.)

The FOTUS experimental helmet was developped during the Covenant’s attack on Earth. Various sensors and scanners were implemented into the helmet’s horn (which can be removed at will when the situation gets dangerous, in order to preserve it from damage).
I just made up the FOTUS armor’s backstory. it sounds canon now. happy?
space ninjas, flying hearts, confetti are not canon in any way. FOTUS looks credible and could actually be canon.
I think the fotus helmet looks kinda cool. reminds me of EVAs from evangelion.
The FOTUS armor, AKA Force of the Unicorn SMASH! is one of the most ridiculous looking armors I have ever seen. If it didn’t have that horn on it, it would be BADASS.
It is also kind of funny to see people -Yoink!- it with the horn sticking up…
the fotus design is meh for $400 IMO.
if someone has it in the lobby it shows that they’re either very late to the xbox 360 party(we’re already getting next-gen), or Wow you invested that much money into a game which you’ll probably never going to play again in a couple of years.

I always feel a little more satisfied when I take out a fellow Fotus Spartan.

Mediocre game that could have been amazing if it wasn’t for dumb stuff but the console its self is a thing of beauty that I would happily buy again.An instant classic.
