I decided that I would post up a little thread about what your theories are on Halo 5 or whatever the next Halo title is going to be called. I’m not sure if someone has already posted up something like this previously, if so I’m sorry, it’s just that I really wanted to get my ideas out and hear what yours are.
But I have a funny feeling it’ll be like the James Bond film “License to Kill” which is one of my favorite movies of all time. If you’ve never seen if before basically Bond goes rogue and directly disobeys an order. He goes on a mission to avenge a friend and kill the man responsible for the murder of his friend’s wife. It shows Bond for the first time in a while as a cold blooded killer, willing to do whatever he must to complete his mission. Maybe something like this might apply to Halo 5?
Remember, this is only my theory. I’m sure that you guys have many other ones, probably a lot better than mine.
God only knows man. I’m clueless as to what that teaser is all about or if it has any significance to the storyline for Halo 5 but I’m guessing that big forerunner robot has some deal in it all.

I’m liking the “asking bias for help” theory. Not sure if it will be flood tho, maybe the Didact and the storm covenant are back? Or just the storm with all the prometheans?
I think Chief, after going AWOL in Escalations along with the rest of Blue team, despite being told to take a break by Hood,will come under the influence of the Geas of Ur-Didact/Iso-Didact/Forchentho that was implanted/awakened by the Librarian’s accelerated evolution. He will hear voices in his head, perhaps act out of character and hopefully go insane. (I love insane protagonists…) All the while, a giant, extragalactic Gravemind will manipulate him with visions of Cortana, getting him to do something very bad without him realising. Locke is dispatched to track him down and stop him… by any means necessary.
well i hope they dont bring prometheans back because the didact is dead and im sure the flood will come back and defenintly the covenant will thats halo’s main enemy
I’ve always thought that Halo 5 is going to be the best Halo yet. I have a ton of trust in 343 and I frequently refer to Halo 5: Guardians as 343’s Halo 2 so to speak.
