Your Spartan, as a Cameo in Campaign

Clearly this isn’t a suggestion for 343i – if the game hasn’t gone gold by now, it will be very soon.

But I was just thinking how neat it would be if, at some point, the Spartan you design for MM/SO makes an appearance in the campaign? If he/she did, what do you think the cameo would be like? Personally, I’d be happy with seeing him in a briefing room with the rest of Majestic/Crimson/whatever. Maybe the game could also download the armor configuration of your friends’ Spartans and include them as well.

It’s just a thought. What do you all think?

Since we know Spartan Ops takes place six months after the events of the campaign, I figured it’d be neat if we saw our Spartans in action before then.

However, since we also know very little about the actual story behind Spartan Ops, your Spartan could join after the events of Halo 4, in which case it wouldn’t make much sense.

But what the heck. It’s fun pretending.

Ah forgot about that 6 month detail. I loved seeing my Spartan in Reach. It looked badass. Would be pretty cool. Just hope our Spartan comes out in cutscenes in Spartan ops as well

I’m sure they will. All the trailers that show a Spartan in bland Recruit armor? I’m fairly certain it’s just a placeholder. Which is what got me thinking: what if every Spartan in Recruit armor in the trailers is just a placeholder? Small chance, perhaps, but it would indeed be cool.

I am certain our spartan will appear in cut-scenes for SO. It just makes sense. Campaign I am not to sure, maybe when Infinity crashes we get a brief cut-scene?

i would love to watch my spartan get killed in a cutscene. just so you know he’s there.

Yes. Or have the game ending with your character stepping off the infinity, stabbing the butt of the American Flag into the Didact’s head, with patriotic music playing in the background, finally ending with a Bald Eagle landing on his shoulder. Que fade out…

If there are any missions with other Spartans, I’m pretty sure you will be able to play as your Spartan in Campaign co-op; one player ending up being Master Chief though. Until you meet other Spartans, I think everyone will be playing as Master Chief. lol

I heard this somewhere but I have a strong feeling it was Frankie who said this in one of his interviews.
