I thought it was hilarious! What was your reaction?
Many, many, many thoughts went through my head.
Wort wort wort, indeed.
I think it’s just plain stupid. They should’ve changed it for Anniversary.
Johnson: Revenge!
> I think it’s just plain stupid. They should’ve changed it for Anniversary.
They did change it. Instead of the Elite grabbing Johnson’s -Yoink-, Johnson grabs the Elite’s -Yoink- and the Elite jerks his head up.
> I think it’s just plain stupid. They should’ve changed it for Anniversary.
I agree with that because most people think that really happened and ask me why Johnson is still alive in Halo 2.
The -Yoink!- possibly makes what I said seem even more inappropriate
I gave it a round of LOL glad they changed it
I breathed a sigh of dichotomy - on one side, I was truly elated that the original Legendary ending remained one hundred percent intact and hilarious. On the other hand, I was truly saddened to see the opportunity of adding a new Legendary ending to tease even more for Halo 4 was passed up. I have to admit, I would have been opposed to it being in the game. However, I really like what 343 Industries did with the Terminals on Halo Waypoint, and if something similar was unlocked when you beat Combat Evolved Anniversary on Legendary, I would have flipped out.
I’m glad to see 343 and Bungie have always had a good sense of humor.

They did change it in Anniversary. Well, the Elite I mean.
For me they just retelled a joke, that was funny ONCE and that was ten years ago.
“Johnson grabbed the Elite’s -Yoink-?”
They should have shown Johnson & Locklear flying their -Yoinks!- off in a Pelican instead of that stupid joke. Am I right.
Hmm Paradox?
> Hmm Paradox?
What do you mean Paradox?
How did Johnson Survive the Explosion and then Get on the pelican! OMG There is A open end! Jk It was all for laughs!
> How did Johnson Survive the Explosion and then Get on the pelican! OMG There is A open end! Jk It was all for laughs!
LOL.
When my friend and I first played through Halo: CE we were completely taken by surprise by that ending and laughed our -Yoinks!- off.

Proof that people on these form will complain about anything.
