Today I finally achieved the rank of 50 in the halo 3 playlist on MCC. As lame as it sounds, I’ve been trying to get a 50 since the early days of halo 3 back in 2007. Between work and school I never really had enough time to find people to form a team with back then, but I got to rank 46 or 47 in Lone Wolves on h3.
What are some of the things you guys have done in any of the halo games that your proud of? I’m interested to see how many people have been some of the LASO campaigns and things like that.
It may not be the most exciting answer, but I’m most proud of what I was able to accomplish in Halo 3. Back then, I had a strong feeling of confidence every game I went into. Knowing that I’d be able to carve through the enemy team, game after game, regardless of how skilled of an opponent the game threw at me. Also, as a result, earning the admiration of friends (that I have to this day).
Similliar to Samidare Hatake, I had that strong feeling of confidence as well whenever I played CE, H2 or H3. I was very good at them and I liked the feeling of really knowing what’s what. Once I am done with Halo 5, I will probably head back and play MCC and Reach more. But those cool ricochet sniper shots that landed a headshot were always a special thing too… Man, I miss the good ol’ days when I used to play Halo 3 on my grandmother’s TV and me and my brother replaying all of the campaigns.
There are many. The one that stands out for me, is finishing C.E. on Legendary with my wife for the first time. We played the campaign so many times, I lost count.
My proudest moment was a game I had in Halo 2A’s infection. Finished a match with 101 kills and 0 deaths. proof. That was one heck of a game. I doubt that will ever happen again sadly. But I’ll always remember that match.

At first, yes. Got used to it after months of playing. I was happy when the smaller ones came out.
I’ve only had 1 unfrig and it was a bitter sweet moment. Playing CTF on Longbow in H4. Our team had 2 caps and I was sitting on 30ish kills. My teammates decided to slay instead of cap. I could have capped it myself but knew I could get an unfrig if I didn’t.

The Duke was one tubby b*stard…back in the day, I could hardly grapple onto the thing to save my life!

I would say when I finally mastered the Sniper Rifle. My first “mastery” kill was in Halo reach. I was playing Invasion on Spire, and in the last 10 seconds of the game I picked up a sniper with one last shot. I scoped in, and sniped someone out of a Falcon while it was ascending full speed. Headshot, and cross map. thumbsup
