I haven’t touched Reach in at least 6 months and I just started playing Halo 3 again. They’ll all stay on my shelf as part of my collection when 4 is out.
Personally I’m currently playing Halo 3 over Reach, and when Halo 4 is released i give 100% of my time to it, at least for a while.
If it’s garbage like Reach (I was HUGELY let down by Reach because of bad maps, no ranking system, AA’s in every playlist at the beginning etc.) i am sure to return to H3.

Dude, don’t toss it, give it to me. I plan on playing Halo 4 when it comes out but Halo 3 and Reach will still be getting attention. I love my Halo 3
hahhahahahhahah this guy has been posting on EVERY forum, trying to get a negative reaffirming comments of how “reach sucks” but he just keeps getting “dude why would throw away an awesome halo game” or “why would you trash your game”???
I always keep all of my games, and since ive spent so much time on Halo Reach, i’ll be keeping it along with all of my other Halo games because i still play them all. When i get bored with Reach I play Halo 3, when i get bored with Halo 3, I play ODST - and so on. They are all great games. Ive been slowly working my way up the ranks in Halo 3 Multiplayer, and im a Noble in Halo Reach, I also still have some things to accomplish on ODST as well and they are all fun to play with friends.
When Halo 4 comes out, i’ll still be playing all of the games in some form or another, because everyday there is a new battle to fight and another alien to kill.
When Halo 4 is released, I will definitely be playing it a lot more than Reach and Halo 3, however I won’t devote 100% of my time to a game. Not to sound cheesy, but I’m a student first.
For the first month I will definitely devote most of my gaming time to Halo 4; trying to pass the campaign on co-op and single player, then hop on some Matchmaking for a couple of weeks with my friends until I rank up to a well amount. However, after that first month I’m hopping right back on Star Wars: The Old Republic.
So basically, no I will never throw away old games, especially not Halo 3. I still have my Super Mario Bros. copy from the 90s, and I will NEVER throw that away. I bought it for a reason, and it will forever remain a keepsake as my treasure as a gamer.

Not the case at all Sir
I play Reach all the time But when HALO 4 drops i will be moving on and not looking back that is all.
If you like Reach that’s fine - nothing wrong with that at all
Reach can -Yoink!- left * and deserves to be put into the garbage.
Halo’s 1-3 is what true “Halo” actually is and the people who think Reach is a good game are not true Halo fans and probably only played a few games of the older Halo’s or not touched them at all.
Hopefully Halo 4 will be as good as the past games. Again, Reach can blow a big one and belongs in my oven then destroyed with C4.

I don’t play on taking my Reach disk off of the shelf ever again.
If Halo 4’s bad then I might just play it a couple months and be done with Halo until 5. I still play Halo 3 but the connections are starting to get to me.
I have played every single halo game extensively, I played Halo 2 online since it came out, then played Halo 3 when came out. Then I moved on to Reach, and am still playing it because it is different, people always want things to stay the same, but they don’t. People have to learn to adapt.
