So, Halo 4 is set to realeast in about 10 months or so. Do you have a plan for that day?
I have had a tradition since halo 3.
2 Weeks before it releases I am going to start playing all of the games campaigns in order. Halo Wars, Halo reach, Halo CE, Halo 2 (Halo 3 odst right after the level “Metropolis”) Halo 3, then Halo 4!
The day that it comes out I go straight to walmart after school. I run to the electronics section and pick up my preordered legendary edition and stock up on salt and vinegar chips, mtn dew, dorritos and all of the other good stuff.
I drive home as fast as possable.
Pop the disk in the xbox and play Multiplayer untill bout 11. then go to bed. (early i know)
I skip school*
Then, i set alarm for 4:00 AM. Get poptarts and play the campaign untill it is complete.
Well, the few days before it I will play through the campaign of every game, or at least those of the original trilogy. Then, on the day of release, I will wait calmly until my preordered game arrives. (Im too lazy to go and get it at another store). Then, I play it as long as my heart desires. If its a weekend, I will play as much as I can, if its a school day, I will have to wait until afterschool, after homework, because im bad at remembering to do my homework later.
It’s a tradition for me to always play through the campaign on at least normal before I jump into any multiplayer. After that’s done, I’ll jump into some multiplayer for a bit, then go right back into campaign on Legendary and do some achievement hunting. All while binging on Doritos and Mountain Dew, of course.
If I’m working that day, which I likely will, I’ll just pick it up during my break and hide it somewhere so neither of my roommates open and play it before me. Otherwise, I’ll probably attend the Midnight launch with my fellow Helljumpers.
As for the game itself, if its any sort of collector’s edition, I’ll take a quick look through it as long as it doesn’t have any spoilers in it (such as an art book, etc.). After that, I’ll be diving straight into making a profile and then playing Campaign on Normal.
I’ll get home at around 3:10, go down to Gamestop to pick up the gamee and get home around 3:30.Then the fun begins
-Customize spartan
-Try out all of the new weapons and vehicles in forge
-Play the first few missions of campaign
-Play multiplayer till about 12
1.Go to midnight release
2. Skip school/ fake illness
3. Play Campaign
4. Play Multiplayer
5. Repeat of steps 3 and 4 until my hands fall off and I’m blind.
6. Recover
7. Repeat of steps 3-6 until Halo 5
See what I did with the 7 steps there. That was for you Bungie.
In the 2 weeks leading up to it, play through the entire series in chronological order like I always do.
Then on launch day get my Limited or Legendary Edition and lock myself in my room for a few hours playing nothing but campaign.
After a few hours I might break into Matchmaking to play some first games with my brother.
Nothing special, and certainly nothing crazy like midnight releases etc. I’m a bit too old for that haha
About a week before release, I will first play through the campaigns of the original trilogy, I will then reminisce by playing Halo 3 multiplayer remembering the good times I had with my friends. Say farewell to Halo 3 multiplayer, wait anxiously for the midnight launch of Halo 4, drive down to whichever place I pre ordered my Legendary Edition, pick up my copy, stock up on as much snacks and soft drinks as I can, drive like a maniac to get home,(jk, drive safe) get my food prepared, run to my room, open the case, stare at it for a little, pop it in, change my control schemes, sensitivity, whatever, play through the campaign first on Heroic, faint for about an hour or so from sheer awesomesauce, wake back up, finish campaign, say to myself, “Cool Campaign, bro.”, jump into multiplayer, customize my Spartan to my liking, go into a game, toy around with vehicles, weapons, you name it, get srs business, own people all night, pass out and then do it all over again the next day.
It will surely be an awesome year for me :3 CANT WAIT!!!
you guys are fat carnts, with all of your ‘taco bell’ and ‘salt and vinegar chips’ and ‘poptarts’!!!
Ill wake up day of release at a comfortable time 9am
have my wholesome breakfast containing proteins, carbohydrates, natural poly-un-saturated fats and essential amino acids.
make my way to EB games to pick up Halo 4
then stock up on steak, chicken breast (organic), vegetables, oatmeal and brown rice.
play halo 4 solid but have food breaks every 2-3 hours to maintain metabolism and ensure anabolism (opposite to catabolism) which means my body doesn’t use my muscle for energy/fuel causing muscle breakdown AKA protein breakdown (opposite to protein synthesis).
