Hi, I’m new to these forums, go easy or hard on me depending on what you want me to learn.
Anyways, I’ve been playing Halo Reach and two other games of the series on my Xbox 360 which can no longer use the internet, and I was planning on getting the Master Chief Collection on steam this Christmas. I’ve already asked this question on Steam’s forums before, but they have neglected to reply for strange reasons.
What I’m asking is how your experience has been with multiplayer in the Halo franchise, which game would you consider to have the best multiplayer maps and best players?
the mcc works great now, i have had little to no issues since the reach release and have very much enjoyed it
Halo 2 and 3 pretty much trade punches for top spot in my mind. I have a lot of memories tied up in both those games, and each successive Halo after CE felt like it built on the one that came before it. So if you’re ultimately asking if you should pull the trigger on pre-ordering MCC on Steam, I’d say go for it. After playing Reach on Xbox, I’m blown away by how good it looks… I’ll be honest and say I really didn’t think I’d notice much of a difference, but I was dead wrong. So if Reach looks that good, I’m sure you’ll be pleasantly surprised by CEA, H2A, and the rest of the MCC.
For now all that’s available on Steam is Reach but it’s in pretty good shape. As far as the other games that will be coming to PC via MCC my favourite is Halo 2 but most likely once every game is out the most populated one will be Halo 3 if it follows Xbox’s trends.
