Your Most Epic Halo 5 Stories!

Yesterday I was playing Halo 5 and had an incredibly cool, comeback story game that almost never happens (to this extreme anyway). It got me thinking… what are YOUR Halo 5 multiplayer’s most epic stories? It’s part of what’s so great about his game and I’m kind of shocked I haven’t ever seen a forum on this yet - amazing comebacks, utter dominations, individual, sick, last second plays… there are so many great stories out there, share away!!

Mine, in quick summary from yesterday…

Mantis Breakout.

Round 1: We’re DESTROYED. All four of their enemy Mantises remain. “Wow, that was terrible…”

Round 2: Again, we’re obliterated. I got one of them, but three remained. “Unbelievable. I can’t believe how bad our team is… so frustrating, easy win for them.”

Round 3: My three teammates are offed in a matter of seconds it seems. I decide to try and stay alive to extend the game and give us another shot, despite how badly they’ve kicked our -Yoinks!- up until this point. I hide in the middle of the map, and wait for a full minute, watching three of them (all four were alive) walk right by me, but not see me. They don’t fire at me once for an entire minute. Tie. “Crazy, I can’t believe I survived that! They’ll still win, but at least I made it not a clean sweep.”

Rounds 4, 5, 6: HOLY CRAP! It’s like that round 3 survival rallied the best out of my teammates, like I was Braveheart riding my horse into battle! What was an -Yoink–kicking from the enemy team is completely reversed, as our team (with me leading in kills), suddenly were Mantis Breakout stars, rallied, and DEMOLISHED the enemy team the remainder of the game, only losing ONE mech along the way. Ridiculous! How did that happen?!!

One time I captured a base by myself and killed 9 enemy players in the process. Nearly all of them with a energy sword. The last one I was able to kill, while I had no shields left, with a 2 BR headshot melee combo.

A very long time ago, while playing Slayer, we were evenly matched, then people were dropping/quitting out. Left with two against me, I was ahead by one as the time ran out. At 2 seconds left they killed me, to tie it up. Went into overtime. Thought to myself, this isn’t going to end in my favore. I have to say that this was my first time camping. But I could not just stay in one place, had to move to different camping spots. I can’t remember the final score, but I did just barely win. After the match, The three of us teamed up, and played the rest of the evening. It was one of the best nights I had playing arena.

I remember one time playing old Breakout with my brother and we ended up with two AFK players from the very start. We lost the first 3 rounds before they eventually were dropped, now it’s me and my brother VS 4 players and we are down 3 game to none, we change up our tactics now that we know we are down 2 players and end up coming from behind to win the rest of the games. It was so tense playing but at the end it was awesome to be standing on the podium just the two of us.

One time, I fired my rifle and killed a guy.

In all seriousness though, one time my team was losing 4-0 in breakout. We then proceeded to win 5-4.
