So at the end of the trailer it says “2014 your journey begins on xbox one”. I’m curious as to exactly what that journey is. Are we on a journey to find Halsey? The Didact? What exactly?
The start of halo games on a new system -_- the same with halo 3 being on the 360.
what I Mendicant Bias said, it’s Halo now coming to Xbox One for a new generation. Whether or not it’s Halo 5 or a bridge game between Halo 4 and Halo 5, we’ll have to wait to find out.

Chief can’t let go of Cortana. I don’t think he is searching directly for her, however. The most logical candidates that he is searching for, in my mind:
A.) Halsey, since she was a mother figure of the S-IIs AND may be necessary for a new Cortana (on one of the H4 missions, Cortana describes how they need to find Halsey since she was the only known human AI made from human neural networks or something?)
B.) Librarian. Didn’t Cortana ‘meet’ her already in H4? Did a part of Cortana end up in the Domain, or go off-planet?
C.) Remaining pieces of Mantle’s Approach, wherever that slip-space portal led to.
