Your Ideal Control Scheme

Since I just posted this in the wrong thread, I will reiterate it here.

I am a fan of bumper jumper so here is my ideal control scheme.

X- Sprint
A- Use Armor Ability
B- Reload
Y- Cycle Weapon

Dpad- change grenade

LB- Jump
RB- Melee
RT- Fire Weapon
LT- Throw Grenade

LS- Move/Crouch
RS- Look Around/Zoom

Please comment on this scheme and feel free to include your own ideas!!

Also, you can use my scheme as a template by copy/pasting it and rewriting it to your standards.

X- Action/Reload
A- Jump
B- Melee
Y- Cycle Weapon

Dpad- change grenade

LB- Sprint
RB- AA
RT- Fire Weapon
LT- Throw Grenade

LS- Move/Crouch
RS- Look Around/Zoom

I am a fan of Boxer so here is my ideal control scheme.

RB- Throw Nade

Not bad at all. I can see how this is usefull if you dislike bumper jumping

Recon.

I’d like to transition between Halo 4, Reach, 3, and ODST with little effort.

rs- look
ls- move
r3- zoom
l3- aa jump

rb- melee
lb- aa or jump

Hold rb and lb to “toggle” sprint

dpad- up score
left/right- gernades

y- swich weapons
x- use
b- crouch- toggle

triggers
rt shoot
lft gernade

i know it leaves a button open but i really like haveing all three on bumpers

Precisely :smiley:

Reach Green Thumb.

What ever I can get used to the fastest. I really don’t care what it is as long as it’s familiar enough for me to get used to it quick.

X= Action
A= Jump
B= AA
Y= Weapon switch

RB= Melee
LB= Sprint
RT= Fire weapon
LT= Leuitenant

RS= Zoom
LS= Crouch

LB = Armor Ability
LT = 'Nades
LS/Click LS = Movement/Crouch
Left/Right on D-pad = Switch Nades

RB = Sprint
RT = Shoot
RS/Click LS = Aim/Zoom

A = Jump
B = Melee
X = Reload/Action
Y = Switch weapon.

Not changed too far from default, but its just enough to make it feel like halo control scheme while retaining the new features. Though, even if there is customizable option I will still probably use default scheme so I don’t wind up confusing myself, because i do quite like having AA’s be LB and punch being RB, and i want sprint close to AA’s, but i dont like crouch on B… grrr!!!

Same here.

Take Reach’s Recon control scheme, move “change 'nades” to d-pad, and replace X w/ sprint. If you’ve gotten used to playing w/ Sprint on LB like I have then just put AA on X instead. Very simple.

Yuck, I hope they have a bumper jumper style layout that’s almost exactly the same as Reach/H3. Sprint on the left stick screws my left thumb over in every game I play that has that control there.

A: Jump
B: Crouch (toggle)
X: Reload
Y: Switch weapon

RT: Fire weapon
LT: Aim
RB: Equipment
LB: Tactical equipment

D-pad: Killstreak

LS: Sprint
RS: Knife

A- Jump
B- Melee
X- Sprint
Y-Cycle Weapons

LB- Armor Ability
RB- Action/Reload
RT- Fire Weapon
LT- Grenade

RS- Look Around/Zoom
LS- Move/ Crouch.

D-Pad < >- Switch Grenades ( I can get used to it)

he edited it to have the scheme he wants. its not the actual default layout.

THIS would be the REAL default control scheme at this time.
