No no, not the MCC - I was curious what sort of Halo material others might own? :slight_smile:
What books, games, or other fun things you might have hoarded over the years.

I apologize if this has been brought up before (Checked back a bit and didn’t see anything) or if is in the wrong ‘section’ (Figured it’d be safest in General Discussion)

Yeah, I realize I’m severely lacking in the Halo Novels department - I should be ashamed of myself!
My original Halo Wars case got lost so I had to get a new copy from Gamestop… The ‘Used’ tag sort of clutters it up a bit but hey ^^

I’m positive many others will have a much larger collection than this (One of my friends in Australia has the H4 console, so jealous!) but nonetheless I’m quite happy with my little slice of Halo here ^^

I’ve got all the books except broken circle and cole protocol, Every game, i’ve got the hard cases for 2, 3, and wars, forget which editions though.

I also picked up reach’s legendary edition for like $20 in the bargain bin at a local electronics store a few weeks back, that was a steal :wink:

Broken Circle’s a pretty good book in my opinion, interesting seeing things from the Covenant’s perspective too (Though they only make brief passing references at the Human-Covenant War)

Yea, i’ve always enjoyed covenant content, the arbiter missions are my favorite out of the entire series, so broken circle is right up my alley, just havn’t got around to it.

I hope we get to see more Arbiter missions in Halo 5. I enjoyed the differing perspective(s) in Halo 2 personally, but from what I read Bungie got a lot of harsh feedback for the sudden change and so dropped the concept in Halo 3, instead just having him be a team mate instead =/

I hope 343i doesn’t give in to that like Bungie did and provide us with some Arbiter-specific missions. Think it’d be pretty awesome ^^

Got Halo CE original, 2, 3, 4, ODST, MCC, my brother has the books but I’m thinking of reading them when I finish A Song of Ice and Fire series (whenever that is).

I have a Halo 3 poster, a statue of Thel 'Vadam, two Reach Elite figures, a combat Elite from Halo 3 and a Rtas 'Vadum figure medal edition (his armor is shinier and he’s my prized possession)

Yeah I know how that feels… Games only no books, was like that myself for aaaages until I found Cole Protocol at a bookstore and took it home with me. Loved every moment of it, and Broken Circle was just awesome.

Bal’Tol, Ussa 'Xellus, Vil 'Kthamee… Lots of cool new Sangheili characters, and I never actually thought I’d grow attached to a San’Shyuum character but the Prophet of Inner Conviction and the friend-to-sangheili Prophet of Clarity were both worthy of my respect as well <3

Enduring Bias was also pretty cool, and I love how he assimilated himself into Sangheili culture, adopting their ways and whatnot… Like 343 Guilty Spark he was lonely and bored, and then Ussa and his refugees came into his life, and changed everything. If only Guilty Spark could have made honorable friends like that…

If you ever get the chance, I’d really recommend picking it up. :slight_smile:

I dont have much in mine, but im proud that I still have my originals of the first two games, and that I got them when they first came out.

  • Halo 1 (my original from 2001)- Halo 2 (my original from 2004)- Halo 3- Halo 3: ODST (my original from 2009)- Halo: Reach (my original from 2010)
    I cant remember what happened to my halo 3, I think it broke or something, so I had to get a new one recently. and besides that was only for campaign because ODST had the multiplayer disc with every map on it. And other than that, the rest I have are from the year they were released :slight_smile: And as far as regrets go, I really wish I got the Halo 2 limited edition with the steel case and the bonus material. also I regret getting halo4, I really wish I had that $60 back :confused:
