Well, assuming the game comes out on Tuesday like every other game besides Skyrim…
I will start by going to the midnight launch at my local Gamestop with some friends, going home and going to sleep, then take the next day off from school and play the hell out of it!!!
Well right now, I have a pre-order at gamestop. But closer to launch, I’m going to check with the Microsoft Store and see if they’re having a launch party and/or pre-order perks like with CEA. If they do, I’ll cancel at gamestop, and make a preorder at Microsoft Store.
About a month before launch, I’m going to play Halo 2 and 3. Then, starting 3 days before launch, I’m going to go over there every day and check if anyone is there yet. And once I go, and there’s a couple people, I’m going to rush home, grab my stuff and go and wait.
Then, I’ll come home, play the campaign with no breaks except sleeping and eating and pooping. Once I finish campaign, I’ll move on to Multiplayer. I already have a backup 1-year XBLG card to make sure I have XBLG when Halo 4 comes out.
Buy it online with express shipping so I’ll get it at least one day before release
Play some campaign with friends to get the feel for the game, then go online
Wait in line for Halo 4 for hours, get halo 4, spontaneously combust. After that I’ll recombine myself go home, put the disk in and thats about the time my social life walked away from me.
Go to my first midnight release party (If GAME pulls through), then awkwardly talk to people and try to think of a reason to leave and go play Halo. I’ll probably pull an all-nighter the night before so I can sleep through the day and get up late, go to the midnight release, and promptly play Halo 4 the next day, all day long. Campaign first. Lights off, headphones on, door shut to keep the cats out. Heaven.
Step 1: TOP SECRET: Begin world dominationStep 2: Obtain white Chevy astro with blocked rear windows
Step 3: Install wide screen lcd secretly in the back… Shh…
Step 4: Make a preorder at nearest midnight release
Step 5: Obtain battery array and charge them the night before.
Step 6: Attend the event, then run back to the van!
Step 7: Insert into eagerly awaiting disk tray
Step 8: Cry at evitable red ring of doom.
Step 9: Rejoice at backup measures such as another Xbox. (Profiles saved on a flash drive)
After Several hours of campaign goodness we arrive at step 200
Step 201: Beat campaign on legendary. It’s now 8 AM and the event happens to be near an elementary school.
Step 202: Parents believe me to be a -Yoink!-, so I retreat back to home base
Step 203: Then upload all the gameplay to youtube while rocking multiplayer
Step 204: Realize I hit my data cap, courtesy of comcast!
And what happens between these next thousand steps must never be told again…

Step 2000: Apply crème?
It depends on when the release date ends up being. If it’s after I turn 17, then I’ll pick it up at Gamestop at midnight and skip school the day of and perhaps even after. If it’s before I turn 17, then I’ll just order it online via Amazon and skip school the day after.
im 18… i dont stay up till midnight for anything…but…I have the same spirit as all you guys…and soon as the store where i live opens in the morning…Im the first in line…
Get the Legendary edition, play campaign through on heroic, play once more on Legendary (all in a single sitting), sleep, wake up, go to bathroom, eat, go to bathroom, turn on xbox, turn on xbox remote, turn on television, put television sound to max, sit down on couch, play Halo 4 multiplayer till my eyes bleed.
