Your greatest Halo accomplishment

At one point or another, we’ve had a goal in Halo that you knew wouldn’t be easy. And at another point, you’ve beaten that goal and you felt like you’ve won the lottery. What was it you tried to accomplish? Did you get to Inheritor? Beat Halo 2 SLASO? Earned Recon?

For me, it had to be beating Steppin’ Razor and earning the Ascetic permutation. Not the most difficult thing to do, but it was still worth it at the time to me.

I’m still working toward Stepping Razor and Overkill.

My greatest achievement was getting Scout in H3. Mongoose Mowdown took forever, but I take pride in it.

I guess I can’t view it anymore, but I claim to be a very good warthog driver and in H3 I racked up a pretty impressive number of wheelmen, maybe over 4000 I really don’t remember. Other than that I am happy to have every halo achievement with the exception of Halo wars DLC(didn’t buy) and a few Halo 4 dlc achievements, I didn’t buy the Champions bundle and getting a kiil in a hog in air on a map I pretty much can never find is really hard. Especially since as I just said I am the DRIVER.

My best halo moment was in odst, i beat the legendary campaign in 5 hours.

My “best” moment would be when I unlocked all the achievements for Halo: Reach before the DLC and extra achievements came out. It was the first game I put an effort in unlocking each achievement.

My best gaming moment was probably some funny fail.

Well, most people agree that my obtaining 2 for 1 legitimately is a great achievement. While I agree, my most triumphant moment in Halo was shooting the first few Grunts in Halo CE for the PC. Why? It led to my coming here and meeting a vast amount of people. For that, I have Bungie, and now 343i to thank.

Getting my Brigadier is my most significant Halo achievement.

I remember having a Brigadier make quite an impact on me way back in the day when that rank was extremely rare. They were actually good, for starters, unlike almost everyone I see now (though I’m infinitely better than I was back then).

I very rarely look at a player after a game and say ‘They were straight-up good’ but this guy and his gorgeous eagle

Got it playing Team Slayer quite some time later and was always the best player on the team. I was proud to have gotten it, slowly, but certainly on my own merits. That made my whole experience earning that.

I never cared for a 50 because it simply isn’t a Brig and most 48 and '9 Brigs are better than Generals anyway.

The most memorable game I ever had was a round on Standoff. I was matched with a couple of cocky American Brigs (45 Skill, 300 EXP, you know the ones) against a full team of women, three Brigs and one General.

My teammates start talking -Yoink-, of course. Girls can’t play the game, girls shouldn’t be here, that kind of filth. Picking on the General. She never spoke and all her mates said was that my teammates didn’t want to be talking crap. Long story short, we might have pulled 20 Kills that game and they backed out so quick you couldn’t help but laugh.

I’ll never forget that one

Just sticking with the franchise for 10+ years, sometimes I forget just how much I must really love Halo to stick around for 14 years.

When i reach the Scarab Gun in H2 after like 2h trying the glitch on pc

Collecting all Halo achievements in existence was my greatest accomplishment.

Assuming you’re still looking at that account here are your Wheelmen, plus any you earned after they stopped tracking stats : )

No real goals but getting put in one of IGN’s videos was kind of fun.

When I got Halo 3, I didn’t understand that the ranking system made it harder to rank up if you had played a lot of games, and so I didn’t bother going for a 50 very early on. I got stuck at 46-47 in a lot of the ranked lists (lone wolves / team slayer / snipers / swat / doubles), but eventually I got tired of being skill 47 yet being clearly better than the majority of 50s I was playing against, and decided to try-hard for my 50 until I got it. I had a little over 2000 XP, with hundreds of games in each ranked list at that point.

Took quite a while, but try-harding in SWAT for a little over 100 additional games and I got it. 77 wins and 29 losses to go from 48 to 50, going 13-1 over the final 14 games to get the bump to 50 (and yes, I just counted).

Not many people made the jump legit from Brigadier grade 3 to General, so I was excited to be one of them

Reach SLASO. Their SLASO version though with no Blind.

Other than that: Endure. Just because of how laggy it got near the end.

It was on Reach, I forget the maps name. It was the Invasion map in the Noble Map Pack and I was in the middle trying to take out a Bansche(spelling?) and he went in for the splatter. Instinctively I went for the melee. Blew me up along with it but I got the sucker!

Sneaking to my friend’s house to play a new game called Halo:CE was probably the best idea I ever had and my greatest accomplishment.

My proudest moment was finding a Easter Egg in ODST no one found. And getting it put on Halopedia cause no one knew about it till I showed them it. :3

My greatest accomplishment is probably becoming Inheritor on Halo: Reach. Took me two and a half years, but I finally did it. And once I was up there, I felt like I was on top of the world. Very few people had become Inheritor before me and it felt sooooo good to be one of them. Completing the campaigns solo on legendary for both Halo: Reach and Halo 4 come close behind.

O_o

Putting in all that hard work, to unlock the Scout Armour in Halo 3. To this day, the Scout set is a favourite of mine, & I was ecstatic when I unlocked the whole set.

It was either that, or completing Halo 4’s campaign on Legendary Solo, or maybe doing Halo 2 Legendary Solo.
