What are you greatest accomplishments in any of your matches? I mean your greatest victories, tactical victories, defeats, clutches… Anything you believe was an amazing moment for you.
I decided to play forge in 1v1. the first match I found was a forge mirror on release. we both went 5 hogs reactor fourth(I think), the game changing moment came very early when he tried to take out my hogs while I were clearing a base; neither one of us lost any hogs and we had no red bar ones(I basically drove away from him). while this was happening I upgraded to grenadier; he didn’t though and I’m certain this was the critical advantage that caused me to win.
I sent my hogs to kill his hogs and stop his expansion. we both got our first tank at around the same time and we both sent it to our expansions to guard them. after buying my expansion I sent my hogs to his base and found he was trying to get pt off one base; as soon as I got there he sold his fourth tech and already had pt going. I attacked the depot researching pt and carpet bombed it, then he carpet bombed my hogs leaving one black bar. I rammed my black bar hog into his depot and destroyed it, stopping his pt and winning the game for me.

I have to say the most interesting matches for me were a 2v1 (in 2v2 party teams) on terminal moraine where I (Cutter) Super turtle’d against a forge and a Arby holding them off for about 2 and a half hours before they gave up and resigned. After my ally resigned I reinforced my position on one of the side islands that I already controlled Placing a line of 6 cobra’s (2x spartan) on my side of the bridge blocking any passage to my base 9 wolverines (1x spartan) guarding against air and I used 10 ODST’s to block the other side of the bridge to make crossing the bridge s difficult as possible, My other bases were eventually destroyed leaving me with 1 base though by this point i had already amassed about 80k resources in reserves. first they tried to break though with grizzly’s and a pair of scarabs which got destroyed before they were able to clear my ODST’s (Giving my spartan cobra’s a nice amount of vet) next they tried Hornets and banshees, which was wearing me down but they gave up too easily the nxt thing i believe they tried was 2 scarabs (Over the mountains behind my base) and 6 vultures, they were able to take my base down but they didn’t then spam Hornets and banshees to keep it down so I was able to rebuild. they tried tanks again (Failed) now, nearing the 3 hour mark I decided i should try and attack with my max vet units but before i got to them they resigned.
The other match I remember even though It as over a year and a half ago was a match on frozen valley it was not that long after i started playing halo wars I was only the rank just above recruit, it was a 2v3 (In 3v3 randoms) after our covy got rushed out me (Forge) and a random cutter were against a forge, anders and a POR (Not that i fought the POR much) the match remained very much 2 separate battles me (Forge) Vs the forge and the Andes who were the nearest to my base whilst my allied cutter fought the POR I built Scorps and wolves to fight the enemies Scorps and Hornets, mid battle both mine and my opponents tanks upgraded to grizzly and the enemies hornets to HAWX the first battle ended in a draw I guess would be the accurate description as all 3 of us retreated, another 2 battles proceeded in much the same fashion again draw with all parties retreating, then for whatever reason the Anders gave up on HAWX and switched to Scorps, again we battled and neither side gained any ground then. now here’s the part i remember the most (Because it’s quite fail on the opponents part) I went to get food, it must have taken at lest 20 mins but when i came back I still had 3 almost dead grizzlys left and a spartan on foot and the enemy had (Obviously) retreated. Anyway I noticed that the cuter had now defeated the POR and was moving toward the anders so I took my grizzlys (After rebuilding) though the center of frozen valley and attacked first the anders then the forge. Game over victory. But I still remember that one. I was a novice at halo was and it was a reall great match. The only reason I think i was able to hold off the 2v1 on my side was i think Due to in the early part I guess i was making better use of my Spartans and later on even though outnumbered 2 to 1 (Grizzly’s and scorp’s VS Gizzly’s) the lay of the map IE. the narrow channel we were fighting in limited the number of tanks the enemy could use at once putting it in my favor if only slightly as at any one time my 12 grizzly’s were only fighting 6 or 7 enemy tanks instead of fighting the full 24… (Coincidentally I got the achievements neve leave a man behind from that match was I was surprised at as frozen valley =/= Memorial basin)
sounds epic. I miss having long battles that aren’t turtles sometimes. in almost every game the enemy team just plays so bad it’s not even fun any more.
Completing the Campaign solo on Legendary and under Par Time too.
I suppose in a way I had more fun when I started, as I was very bad as were the people i was playing against. It’s circumstances like those where no one is playing meta where people are coming up with the most bizarre battle plans. that’s where it is the most fun. “If a stratagem is stupid but it works, then is isn’t stupid.” (Murphy’s military law i believe.)
Anyway I guess my point is I had more fun in halo wars when i first started, now…Some of my friends who’ve seen me play halo wars have asked why I still play because to them “It doesn’t look all that fun, If your not complaining about your opponents being too easy then your complaining about your allies not doing anything.” least that’s of them said 
and I didn’t really have anything to say to that.

Amazing and grueling 3v3 match on Fort Deen. Took about and hour and 50 minutes. My team held the walls as we had a cutter but the other team kept pressing and a stalemate lasted most of the game. A 3 star chieftain on our team was able breakthrough their defenses only to be killed by a concerted effort by the enemy. Eventually we were able to launch a three pronged attack following a devastating loss of their troops against one of our bases and took control of one of their bases. In the end it was a pretty gg.
Taking down Gauss Hogs =P A lot of luck though, although he seemed to flail near the end =/

My greatest achievement was a game of 3hours an a half where all seem lost and I ended up winning:
When the game started I attacked and fail, he counter attack before i was ready and destroy one of my bases but I accomplish to retreat some units to my last base, if he pursue me he would probably finish me off right there, but he didn’t, his units where damage too but yet where superior to my forces, but perhaps he thought I had more back ont the base.
The base I have left could only be attack from the front and I create quite a defense using Wolverines, cobras and some other units i don’t remember. I defend the position for 3 hours with constant attack, but he couldn’t pass thru my defenses even if he try all possible combinations of units.
I knew my only chance was to wait till he get bored and go away, after all it was a matter of time, so I start checking his profile regularly looking for the “Away” symbol. The second time he had this symbol I took my chances and go for the attack…by the time he was back it was too late, he had lost half of the units and had left 1 base(or perhaps 2, i don’t remember) and of course i was not going to do the same mistake he did. With the units he had he made great damage among my units yet I push forward and replace those units quickly.
On the end, his units where almost destroy and his base about to fall…he quitted.
Best victory i ever had, not the “cleanest” but it was all lost for me and yet I accomplish to win when he had every base on the map except of my base.
After 3 hours of fight you feel dam proud of a victory.
