Halo CE in 2002. I had always been on the Nintendo. I was in to Metroid, mainly. I saw Halo and switched to X-Box.

In 2001 (UK) went to rent a movie from blockbusters store and ended up buying the original xbox with Halo CE. Played Halo till early hours and ever since bought and played every single halo games. Canāt wait for Halo Infinite on 8th Dec 2021, letās gooooo!

Halo CE on my friends XBOX. I played it so much more than he did. I didnāt own an Xbox until Halo 3 came out. So I had to scavenge my Halo time.

I was like 6 or 7 years old when Halo CE came out and my cousin and I pleaded for our grandma to get it for us. After trying to convince her forever that āMā didnāt stand for āMatureā she called our bluff and didnāt buy it for usā¦
A month later itās sitting under the Christmas tree.
That is an excellent starting point. An amazing game.

Halo: CE! LAN parties are always a good time 
My first was Halo 2 on the original Xbox, I was 5 years old and my dad would play with me and take me through the levels but I didnāt remember too much of it. Later when I was 9 years old I got to play Halo 3!
My first Halo game was Halo: CE roughly 8-10 years after it was initially released. My first online experience with Halo was with either Halo 3 or Reach, I donāt necessarily remember. I can say though that I now have every main Halo game to date.
Spartan II here. I was fighting in Basement Gulch (Blood Gulch LAN parties) in friends basements shortly after CEās launch.
After playing it at my friends a bunch one weekend, I mowed lawns, raked leaves, and shoveled snow over the course of 4 months so I could buy an xbox and Halo with my own money because my parents wouldnāt.

Halo CE on PC by pure luck, I remember that at the time I just wanted to watch Foward Unto Dawn and thought that play the games lauched before the show in their launch order could make me understand better everything I was to watch. I was so impressed by playing CE that I started to look for everything halo related since then.
I played Halo CE at a kiosk in EB games back in the day.
Never was really interested in anything outside of horror, JRPGās or fighting games. Then I started playing H2 online at a friendās house. It was my first foray into online gaming. Been hooked ever since.
Bought myself an XBOX and CE.
