Close your eyes, picture yourself with Halo 4 on screen. You have officially become part of the Spartan IV program on the Infinity. You enter in a simulated map with nothing but your Recruit armor, an Assault rifle, a frag grenade, and your trusty Magnum.
Keep them closed. What is your spartan doing? How well is he playing? What map is he playing on? What game mode are you playing?
Now, open your eyes, and tell me, how well did you first game go?
For me, I see myself on Haven, playing a little Regicide, not doing too well since I haven’t played much console lately, let alone a shooter on a console. I see myself losing the game, but I don’t let that get to me. I quit the lobby and find another game to continue my Spartan IV’s ultimate journey of reaching SR-50.
I will play Campaign first and then Spartan Ops. So I will already have MK VI armour and maybe even a few ranks unlocked by playing a lot of Spartan Ops before I even touch War Games.

No doubt I wish I didn’t. I don’t have Reach anymore but I was missing playing a Halo game so damn much that I downloaded the Reach demo on Xbox Live and played that for a good 2 hours. The wait is literally unbearable for this game. I have never felt more excited for a game.

Pretty much this, except I’ll be playing Infinity Slayer and Dominion (Never been a fan of CTF or oddball) after I finish campaign and spartan ops.
Also, I would never go into War Games without a rifle unlocked, I’m bad at the AR lol.

Its like Christmas in November haha, I’m in college and pretty much from now to November 9th I have a couple midterms, papers and presentations and I preodered my game at home so my parents have to send it to me, so I wont get to play til a few days later and its definitely the campaign and nothing else til I beat it.

I’m bad with the AR too, which is why I will probably start with Regicide. Scoring AR kills in Free-for-all is a piece of cake compared with other game modes.

Haha exactly the same, however Objective is split up now into the different gametypes so I’ll just be playing CTF (Even if I hate the new rules its better than slayer for me). However with the EB games/gamestop BR weapon skin will I already have the BR to choose in my loadout??

I’m almost certain that you will have to unlock the BR and the skin will be available the second you do unlock it. I’m pretty sure it will be an early unlock, so you shouldn’t have to wait very long.

I don’t like Oddball either, but I love CTF and Assault (It has to be in the game!).
But maybe they split up every objective game in its own playlist this time.
Although the population is already very low in Halo: Reach, it would be a weird move to do that.
Dominion looks awesome as well and I still hope Invasion sees a return and Dominion won’t be its replacement…

I’m going to play on Ragnarok in the Slayer Pro playlist. No armor abilities, just classic slayer. Sure there will be sprint, but it’ll feel like playing Halo 3 all over again

I know there will be an individual CTF playlist, I don’t know if the other gametypes are separated from each other.
I agree it does seem weird to try and push gametypes like oddball and king of the hill into there own individual playlist, however I do think CTF will actually get a population boost. I know a lot of people who love playing it but don’t like playing objective because they get stuck with king of the hill half the time.
I had completely forgotten about dominion hmmmmm… that’s going to be a hard choice dominion or CTF.
