Just a simple question to the community; of all the weapons shown so far, which do you like? Or dislike?

I have to say I love new design for the carbine. It doesnt look too drastically different but the aesthetic designs of the skin and the holographic look to the scope/magazine is a nice touch.

The new assault carbine also looks neat, and i guess its safe to say its the new Plasma repeater. (atleast we have a good idea that it is indeed the AC mentioned before, and that it is a covenant weapon, since its announcement there was the whole debate if it was a modified AR or Covie carbine.

But overall, i welcome the carbine’s return.

And i also love how forerunner weapons disintigrate people this time around. Been wanting that since halo 2.

The forerunner weapons look cool but so far I’m impressed with the AR and storm rifle, it looks like autos are actually useful this time around. Can’t wait to see more of the weapons.

My favorite weapon in Halo 1-4 is Master chief, though he is kinda OP.

BR for sure. The Forerunner weapons are pretty sweet though.

It’s the new covie auto. It’s replacing the plasma rifle/repeater as far as I understand. There are players using it in some of the multiplayer footage.

Storm Rifle has to be my favorite. Plasma Rifle and Repeater had a baby :slight_smile:

forerunner weapons are pure sexyness also carbine+storm rifle. also I hope carbine is this time around equal with BR but by looking the MLG playing it seems like it is :slight_smile:

The Forerunner weapons are BEAST as well but the Scattershot kinda sounds like mayonnaise XD

The AR by far, its looks great, sounds great and IS great!

definitly the covenant carbine. its kill time seems shorter than the br at medium-close range.

For me no.1 has to be the BR, mostly for the nostalgia reason but I do really like the design in Halo 4 with the square scope.

I am actually already beginning to like the DMR a lot more than I thought. When the first screenshots were released in the famous GameInformer article I didn’t particularly like it, but it’s growing on me and I havn’t even personally used it yet. :slight_smile:

The BR, magnum, and the carbine. Though the carbine could definitely use some of that green discharge effect when reloading as seen in Halo 3.

I’m oddly liking the DMR, but I think the Storm Rifle takes it for me. It’s what the Plasma Repeater should be, I like how the Automatics look useful in their niche.

The DMR looks and sounds solid i love it! so that will most likely be my Starter 95% of the times

Carbine is looking beast, will probably be first weapon I’ll unlock if they dont beef up the BR. I also really like the look of the Scatter shot, it looks like theres little to no auto aim, which I think is a good thing for a shotgun type weapon, and I just love the look of it, and how shots can bounce. H4 sandbox is looking awesome!
