There have been some great posts about Kat in my thread “Killed by a Marine”
What’s your favorite “Kat moment” ? How many times has Kat gotten you killed? Have you ever melee’d her just to get it out of your system?
Would you rather her ride shotgun or man the turret gun, or do you just try to leave her behind whenever practical, (like me) ?
And what is up with her going active-camo into the elevator at ONI while there’s still Covenant running around…? And Carter had to tell Six at Noble Actual that we’re “a team,” (Carter needs to have the team-chat with Kat…)
Lets hope they recruit Laura Croft (Tombraider) for Halo 4…
I like when we got her riding shotgun in the rocket hog on ONI, drove over to the water, parked right over the edge and I hopped out and rocketed the hog out in the water to “get rid” of her.
The we heard her AL and watched her run OUT of the water and all the way back to where the wraiths were and just stand there. Kinda creepy. >.<
I’ve never had her anything out of the ordinary. For me the only problem is Emile being useless. Everyone blames Kat for their driving mishaps when its not her, The AI pathfinding is bad as a whole. It always has been on every Halo game, She’s just the only AI Noble on driving missions since noone lets Emile drive in “Pillar”. He has the worst driving in my eyes.
Kat killed me with a wraith 3 or so times in sword base, then there was the hog that had me splattered all over it, and I like her gunning if my brother isn’t playing as then my gunner never dies like the marine.
Thats a good point about Kat being put into the driving mission, in all fairness it doesn’t make for a very good comparison. Naturally, its the gamer-programmer(s) that would seem to have the “strong-woman” issues…
So now that I’ve been fair and understanding… I’d still like to smack her when she does really stupid stuff…
…or better yet… the Bungie programmer(s). Maybe we should drive them off a cliff in a hog.

I was playing Sword base on Legendary solo and was shooting the warthog turret. There wasn’t a driver so Kat jumped in and drove me into a bunch of spec ops elites a ghost, an elite turreting a warthog, etc. So she pretty much drove me straight into the battlefield and killed me.
laughs i definetely got one moment, Kat killed me twice with the warthog and the Revenant on Tip of the Spear. DONT LET HER DRIVE…SHE SUCKS AT DRIVING.

Last night when I was practicing Swordbase I arrived at the Comms Array and sniped the Elite in the Revenant right from the beginning.
Low and behold, Kat runs down and gets in the Revenant and starts blasting away at the Covenent in the area of the generator distracting them so I could then use my DMR to pick them all off.
I couldn’t believe it, she actually used tactics that made sense catching the enemy in a crossfire.
Naturally I didn’t get too close to her while she was driving the Revenant…
