I know that a lot of you like the whole game, or more than one mission. But if you are forced to say: “This is the best mission of H4 // This is my favorite mission in H4” … which would it be?
And why?

Reclaimer. I love big rides and look at the Mammoth…

Just me, lots of Covies, and plenty of UNSC ammo. And a short bit in a Mantis too.
Also probably the most easter eggs as well with several Halsey audio logs, the Forerunner artifacts like the Index, etc etc.
Reclaimer was my favorite. The campaign is easily the best part of Halo 4. A lot of fun from start to finish.
i forget which one this is, but the one where you can fly the pelican
I love UNSC vehicles, especially the aircraft, and i’ve been wanting to fly the pelican ever since i saw it in H3 for the first time (yes, H3 was my first halo)
and now that 343i GAVE us one to fly, i was really exited
also, you should put “SPOILERS” in the title

Thank you, Number 1.
Requiem. It reminds me the most of old school Halo.

Heh, yeah I got that feeling too. Felt just like the mission “Halo” when you first step out of the crashed escape pod.
Midnight, I finally got to fly the halo jet!
Midnight easily. It had the jet, the most awesome music, and was really challenging on Legendary. Flying above and fighting inside the Didact’s ship was awesome too. Only part I didn’t like was that highly anticlimactic QTE event, which I don’t think anyone else liked.
Requiem.
This level is Halo in a nutshell for me. You’ve crashed on a mysterious Forerunner world, you’ve nothing but your Assault Rifle and Pistol, there’s an army of Covenant between you and your objective, and you cruise through vast epic landscapes in your Warthog while admiring the stunning vistas in the background.
The music in this mission is phenomenal. Haven is gorgeous and Requiem is one of my favourite tracks in the series, I still get goosebumps when it plays as you emerge out of the cave, but Legacy topples In Amber Clad for the best track in the series for me. It’s simply enchanting to wander through the ruins of a mysterious Forerunner structure, the ancient glyphs, Sentinels and everything about that building just screams classic Halo while being something new entirely.
The battle across the bridge very much reminded me of the end of The Covenant from Halo 3 as well where you battle your way through the Citadel to get to the Prophet of Truth.
One of my all-time favourite missions.
