In other Halo titles, which version of damage indication did you prefer the most? Did you like Halo 1 and 3’s version which allowed you to see in which direction you were fired from, or Halo 2 and Reach’s where you only got the arrows pointing left and right?
I honestly prefer the former because it felt like even though I was being fired on, I knew exactly in which direction I was being fired from, and could react accordingly in the offensive or defensive. It felt more real too because if I was hit by a bullet (Coming from actual experience with teflon body armor) I could at least know where I was being fired from and could escape if needed. Even if the system could’nt tell me if I was being fired from above or below, the general direction is more important.
What say you if you were to decide which system was preferable for Halo 4?
