The trusty Plasma Pistol! I didn’t realize how much I relied on it until I did CE LASO and didn’t have them available to me.

My favorite Covenant weapon is the plasma grenade.

Definitely the energy sword, for a variety of reasons. I’m a big fan of close-quarters-combat and multi kills, so you can imagine my love for the weapon. I really loved how they introduced dueling in Halo 3. It was really nice touch that made the weapon even more fun to use. It can really change the tide of a match in the right hands. It also looks awesome for screenshots and in different poses and what-not.
Just an all around great weapon to use.
The carbine. Always my go to weapon if I run out of ammo.
I have to say it is a tie between the needler and halo 5 storm rifle.
Maybe the carbine. I find it easy to use and pretty well balanced 
My favourite Covenant weapon is the same as my all-time favourite weapon in Halo. The Needler. It’s not always the best, and I don’t use it as often as I would like, but I’ve always loved the Needler since I was a kid. The design, the crystals/needles (Still can’t decide if I prefer the more crystal look of the CE, H2, and H3 Needler, or the sharp needle look of the Reach onwards Needler…), and how they homed in on enemies, and could create a super combine. Was so unique and very alien-like to me.

After reading your question and thinking about it for a bit, I don’t think I have a favorite per se, but I guess if I had to pick one that I like to use a lot within the Covenant’s arsenal would be the plasma pistol. That little guy is more handy one might think; whether that’s in the campaign or MP. Kind of reminds me of the little gun in MIB heh.

All time specific favourite Covenant weapon: Energy sword Halo 2.
The carbine has always been my favorite since the halo 3 days.
Besides the energy sword(especially in Halo 2 as I love all the stuff you can do with it)
The carbine I just love the design and how it feels to shoot in game
I really like the idea of the energy staves. You don’t get to use one ever, but they show up in the art and cutscenes with the honor guards.
Some kind of look like spears or partisans, others look like space halberds. Polearms is a neat concept in scifi and I feel like in a world with energy shields and crazy armor they would actually be pretty effective.
For me, the obvious choice is the Halo 3 Gravity Hammer as it’s very satisfying to use due to the beefyness and that it truly feels like the gravity effect is affecting the user. In the other Halo games, the Gravity Hammer is instead somewhat of a disappointment due to the general feeling that the gravity effect from the attack is lacking and doesn’t affect the player and the environment in a sufficient mannar.

I would agree except for the reach gravity hammer I feel like it’s uses was amazing for player movement
Like I loved how I could get out of two Grifball maps and just chill outside of one without dying and just talk with random inheritors are trying to get commendations done on afk guests on my team
Iirc the map that let’s you chill on top of the map is pinwheel
Energy Sword and Carbine! They are really fun to use in-game and can cause some havoc in multiplayer too!
Plus as someone who does Historical Martial Arts as a hobby, I really like swords!
Energy Sword. I just feel so cool while using it (especially red ones).
Easy, plasma rifle. Not the repeater or any other knockoff they want to replace it with, the OG rifle. Shreds shields better than any other weapon in the game besides power weapons and a charged plasma pistol but with less potential for error. It’s effectiveness is unmatched in my opinion.
The CE Plasma Pistol, that thing just completely chews through everything, the only time I ever really need to charge it is for the high-ranked Elites.
The Halo 3 Plasma Rifles, I have more fun than I should when I Dual Wield them, they chew through the Flood pretty quickly.
Also, I actually like the Needler in Halo 3, I think it takes out a Brute faster than the noob combo at closer range, and I also use it for taking out those Flood forms that cling to the walls and shoot at you in Cortana, they get killed instantly.
